I think the whole situation just shows how bad officiating has become.
Was an absolute farce from start to finish ad really shouldn't be happening at the top flight of football. Especially when you clearly see a) Nani get fouled (and not go down until a few seconds after I'll add, thus IMO it wasn't a peno) and if it wasn't one in the refs eyes then surely it'd be simulation. b) The fact that Nani clearly handled the ball for 3/4 seconds and then the fact the ref 'apparently' gave advantage when there wasn't really any to be given leading to the confusion and the goal.
