Why is he playing 4-4-2 if it's not forced and recent results suggest 4-4-2 is a stupid formation for your team?

oh I know but imagine having 3 cb's for the rest of the season when 2 of them are perma-crocks and gallas is pretty injury prone too. We'd end up with Livermore and Khumalo as our starting CB's
