Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Team only have themselves to blame for it. Match was there for the taking, lines fluffed. When Kelly missed the chance, I felt we were bound to lose. Not really that great a guess.

49.15 win percentage Not good enough imo
Today's loss was the team's fault though

The substitutions were pointless and poorly timed, in my opinion.samiz wrote:49.15 win percentage Not good enough imo

Adam was shit (set pieces ). Don't know why Bellamy doesn't start. Henderson on the right
TBH I thought Carroll should have started.
Enrique owned though Walcott though & Skrtel was boss again. MOTM Skrtel.

Carroll was unlucky, because as always, the team went into hoof mode whenever they saw the bobbing ponytail.samiz wrote:I thought he had forgot about subs They were appalling todayGlen Damon wrote:The substitutions were pointless and poorly timed, in my opinion.

I thought Suarez was our best player. He looked like his old, exciting self.

Yeah he was good, he has a really good understanding with Kuyt.
He usually does well with a light beard.

What an unfair defeat! We did all our best to win the game but we lost at the very end... Come on! We can do it!! YNWA
Que derrota tan injusta! Hicimos todo para ganar el partido y lo perdimos en el final .... Arriba que podemos !!!! YNWA

Love his enthusiasm, but 4th is well out of reach for us now. To many shite/average/past there best players in the side for us to turn it around this late in the season.

Yeah, 4th is over for us. We don't even have a champions league worthy squad anyways.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Just came across this.
Liverpool chief Damian Comolli anticipates little summer transfer activity
Hopefully that's a piss take from Damien. If we had three quality players in each position we wouldn't be struggling to make the top four.
It's clear in the summer we need a finisher and another creative midfielder to fill the gap that Xabi has left in the side. Honestly think that we'll have a much better chance of finishing in the top four if Kenny and Damien find the right two players to fill those roles in the summer.
Liverpool chief Damian Comolli anticipates little summer transfer activity
''It is early days. We will probably make some adjustments in the summer but nothing that we've done before,'' he said.
''We signed nine players since Kenny came back so there will be a few adjustments but nothing massive.
''We have done the hard work and now it is a question of making some adjustments in certain positions.
''Kenny has said it several times that we have a very competitive squad and all positions are covered by two or three players, quality players, and we have a lot of young players coming through as well.''

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Watching the rest of that video, he actually looks a decent player. What worries me is his age, he's currently 25 with little to no experience against half decent defences, still worth a punt I suppose.
