I'd like us to buy that De Jong kid....we're going to need more than one attacker this summer because Kuyt may be leaving and Bellamy cant play often enough.

    What?

He might be talking about Andy Carroll, and probably exaggerating with the strategy stuff. Injuries aren't Andy Carroll's problem though, he's just poor.

I'd give Cole and Aquilani a chance next season. They can't do any worse than anyone in the squad at the moment surely.

Yeah but in the contract there was that when he makes 20/25 appearances for Milan they will have the option to buy him, he almost has and has shown that he is a key player for Milan.

Yeah Aquilani's long gone. Disgusting decision by Kenny and Comolli to let him go out on loan.

Fair enough. Didn't know that stipulation was included in the deal. How many games has he started for them this season? last I heard he had an injury.

May I ask why? He's not got the strength to hold off a man in the box, he does not have the positioning to edge past opponents, and although his finishing is decent he's still only on 4 goals in 10 games. Having scored against Cagliari, bottom drubbers Lecce, the always inconsistent Siena, and an Inter side with an abysmal defensive effort helped largely by the exceptional play of his striker partner Miccoli.

I thought about him but I'm not sure he's the right choice. I'm assuming you want someone to come in and assume the responsibility of being Liverpool's main goal scorer.

    Not sure he's that guy.

He is? I know he's been injured for some time now but I don't think he would have found a place in Milan's strongest XI even before his injury.

False. It was a masterstroke, in my opinion. They knew that Henderson would rip up the league as he has done this season.

I agree with that statement wholeheartedly. That is, if we are holding onto a lead.

Anyone else think Kenny's tactics on Saturday were all wrong? No subs until too late on, no pressure on their centre halves, no target man etc...

    All wrong.

    All wrong.

We basically missed two open goals, missed a penalty, and Kuyt was inches away from bagging. Arsenal probably had two chances and scored both.

Maybe personnel was a problem, but not tactics.
