Too many tattoos on those lads. I would ban my players from getting tattoos if I were a gaffer.

BARCELONA STAR ISSUES COME-AND-GET-ME PLEA TO LIVERPOOL
Andres Iniesta has opened the door to a summer move to Liverpool following a come-and-get-me plea during an interview with Sky Sports, UK. Iniesta, who plays for La Liga minnows Barcelona, has been coveted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs leading him to become the pride and joy of Spanish football. But despite this, the playmaker admits that one of his top priorities is to one day play for Liverpool; a club he supported right after they were crowned Carling Cup 2012 champions.
‘Right now it’s just rumours” Iniesta told Sky Sports.
“But I must admit that there are personal reasons for such a move.
“My father and my uncle are big Carling Cup fans. I’d be happy if I was at that club.
“I was not a Liverpool fan until they came up at this level. To play for them would probably mean something extra for me” he added referring to their epic Carling Cup success.
Iniesta has cast further doubt on his Barcelona future after the Spaniard admitted that he has been surprised by the Spanish outfit’s failure to not compete in the league following Real Madrid's push to the top. “It has not been the season I dreamed of at Barcelona. “I have learned a lot mentally from the pressure we’ve been through as a League Runners-up threatened big club. I was better at taking responsibility, and then I got better with the ball. “Right now I expect to stay at Barcelona, but you never know what happens in football” Rumours currently suggest that Liverpool will offer a player + cash deal for the Spaniard, which would see Liverpool ace Stewart Downing head in the other direction. However, this could not be confirmed by Sky Sports – or any other sources – and thus remains to be just a rumour for the time being.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Dirk Kuyt proclaims Carling Cup win the finest moment of his career, eclipses European Cup, World Cup
In an admission which will prick the ears of the advertising executives of Carling, the sponsors of the League Cup, Kuyt said victory over Cardiff enabled him to savour the most important day of his career.
The Dutch striker has suffered only despair since he moved to Anfield shortly after the club’s last cup success in 2006.
He scored but was on the losing side in the 2007 Champions League final, and was part of the Holland team beaten by Spain in the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa.
Asked if the day genuinely meant more than his World Cup experience, Kuyt was adamant. “Yes. If you want to be remembered as a football player, you have to win trophies.
“People can speak about the Carling Cup as a Mickey Mouse trophy but, for me, it is the most important one.
“Wembley is now a special place for me forever. To be involved in a final, to score in a final and make an important penalty in a final is something you remember for the rest of your life.”
As the floodlights were dimmed and the clean-up operation began at Wembley, Kuyt returned to the pitch with his young family to fully appreciate a moment for which he has waited his entire career.
He said: “There were maybe 10 of my family who came down into the dressing room to have their photos taken with the trophy — all in all, there were around 45 friends and family over from Holland. It was great. It was a great day for them and a great day for us.
“I was disappointed not to play from the start but you have to put that to the side because a trophy is much more important than the 11 players on the pitch. We had to do it together and I think that is what we did.
“To score the goal was amazing and then to clear the ball off the line 30 seconds before the end of the game, I thought, ‘This is it’. Then we needed the belief to win on penalties.
“This trophy has a major importance for the future of Liverpool Football Club. Everybody has waited a long time for this trophy, myself included, and now we have won one, hopefully it is the first of many to follow.
“The way we won this trophy — by beating Chelsea away, beating Stoke City away, beating Manchester City over two legs — we showed we can compete with the best and this is a massive step forward for the club.”
As well as a trophy, the European qualification it brought is also vital for Liverpool’s prestige, although Jamie Carragher won’t settle for the Europa League.
“We are bigger and better than that,” said Carragher. “We should be looking to get into Europe every year through our league position rather than through winning the Carling Cup. It’s great that we have qualified for the Europa League, of course it is, but the next step is trying to get back into the Champions League. Europe is part of our heritage and we need to be involved again.”

I was gonna say something sarcastic then realized he actually said "mickey mouse cup"
We would need to know how the question was asked (if at all) and I really doubt it meant more to him than the WC & CL.
Fine journalism.
