Only had a handful of genuine bad performances. City away in the League. Spurs away, Bolton away, Swansea home, Man United away

All the other games we pretty much dominated from start to finish, even the ones we lost, i.e Stoke away. (That 6 consecutive shots scenario )

I should have added Bellamy to the Suarez argument.

We relied on dubious penalties to beat City, our victory against United was very much a smash and grab, Oldham? .

Newcastle is a fair point. That was the only game where Gerrard really played on the overlap, though.

As for Wolves, who created two of those goals with fantastic passes?

I'd argue that Gerrard offers us a lot more than Adam does, Henderson to some extent too. Have you not watched Adam recently? He's been piss poor and his set pieces dropped to a horrific standard.

Adam's freekick leading to Suarez's goal was fantastic.

I would say Gerrard can offer more but it just doesn't work for him in the deeper role - I want to see him playing 1-2's and driving into the box not receiving the ball from 2 yards off a defender.

Yes Adams' set pieces are horrible but he offers something different, I don't mind when he loses the ball going for a hollywood pass because he is the only one actually trying something.

I don't think we're penetrating enough, we were at times reduced to shooting from range. Being out footballed by Swansea at home was quite embarrassing.

I honestly don't know what you guys see in Henderson , I find him so boring to watch, his one touch passing can be decent at times but that's about all.

I agree. There is potential, to be fair. He is very good against the big teams when we're looking for a point or a smash and grab.

Henderson is the next Lucas. When Lucas first came, people slated him, said he wasn't good ..

Now you're doing it to Henderson, who will probably become as big as Lucas is for us in 3 years time.
