Who here actually defended Rooney for kicking out at players and the elbow incident? Neutral

Because you don't see him making racist comments to wind up a player, biting opponents, flicking off fans, and diving on a regular basis.

It's stupid to expect the same treatment of Scholes because of the odd handball here and there.

The FA fought valiantly on his behalf to ensure that WAZZA would be able to play as many games as possible, lest he throw his toys out of his pram.

He's also made tackles more disgusting than anything Suarez has done.

Because Suarez isn't just hated for hand balling it, and it's obviously going to piss more people off when it's in the last minute of a World Cup game, not really comparable. Laughing

That's true and I have criticized him for it in the past because he is a reckless and clumsy tackler. It's still not comparable to the many things Suarez has done over the years.

Didn't answer my question. Plus I couldn't care about the Euros and him only getting 2 games, if that's what you mean.

It's all the same to the savage, uncontrolled fiend of the deep that is Paul Scholes.

Nope. Thankfully some people play with sportsmanship and don't appreciate cheating people for personal gains.

Its more the biting, shouting at people, conning the refs, kicking people and being a racist twat that people dislike him for.

Also Liverpool fans trying to blindly defend nasty things he does makes people go against him even more.

Why do Arsenal fans praise Robin Van Persie, a rapist? Smile

Sorry, let me go phone Dani Alves and Busquets and tell them to stop diving. That's all they really needed to hear. Neutral

I criticize those players for diving all the time. I'm not a delusional fan.

Perhaps you should consider a change of teams, a team that plays within the laws of the game? Surprised

Scott wrote:Liverpool fans only defend Suarez when it's defendable.

We defend him for the handball at the World Cup because most players would have done the same.

We defend him for the Evra incident, because the whole case was a joke and the FA made the verdict revolving around 'probability'. The whole thing was very debatable and not clear cut at all.

We defended Suarez for the kick on Parker because the intention of the kick was very debatable.

Have you lot not noticed that when Suarez does something that isn't defendable, we don't defend him? For example, I don't see any Liverpool fans defending his bite on that player in Holland. We all collectively accept that it was a bad thing to do. Because we can see it was a bad thing to do and is undefendable.

The reason Man United fans don't defend Rooney, is because the things he has done have been undefendable. Simple as that. There's no debate about them. There is no argument to be had. His kick on that player when playing for England, his elbow on McCarthy, his swearing into a live Sky Camera all have one thing in common. They're undefendable. That's the only reason Man United fans don't defend Rooney's actions.

People that defend him for the handball in the world cup are fucking idiots. any decent person wouldn't do that, its cheating.....

No one can really comment on the incident really.

You can't defend a player for kicking someone in the gut, He was doing it out of frustration, it was intentional.

    This thread is about Rooney.

    Do you defend Rooney's actions?
