You are more likely to defend your own "kin." Hence, you will read the articles you want to read on the matter, listen to whom you want to listen. This thus strengthens your view on the matter. The Zlatan wrote:Benitez wrote:

So what is it then? Suarez can be a cunt for Liverpool and you will defend, but if he played for Manchester United and he was cunt, you wouldn't defend him?

If some one defends suarez for the shit hes does (Which is most liverpool fans) they are idiots.
If he played for United, United fans would defend him too, don't deny it.
I wouldn't defend him If he played for United, Others might but I know I wouldn't.

If he played for United I would want him out of the club immediately, just like I did with Ravel Morrison.

Just like if my son was accused of racial abuse, i would defend him, but if it wasn't my son, i wouldn't.
What if your son was actually racially abusing someone, then what would you do ? Would you still defend him then ?

You would not want him out because of hid footballing ability, Ravel was overhyped and not certain to become a world class player.Suarez has already established himself as a great player and you would want him out... yeah sure.

He might have shown glimpes of potential but comparing a prospect to a player who is already world class in many aspects is stupid.

It is the only example of a United player who has behaved almost as badly as Luis Suarez, and I wanted him out for it. Of course it's not exactly the same, but Morrison is a potential great of football depending on who you listen to, but I don't care about any of that, I simply don't want someone of such despicable character playing for Manchester United.

Re: The conduct of Luis Suarez
I can see where leo is coming from, If my son (any family member for that matter was accused of racism then i would stand by them.) If it was my son then i would of raised him better then to say shit like that. If he was proved to have said what suarez said with intent to hurt then it would be a different matter.
Regarding Suarez. He is a cunt, He has done terrible things and i'm not gonna defend it but it has become so fashionable to insult him, accuse him and basically jump at him for everything he does. You guys seem to jump at the chance to insult him.
You guys watch him and wait for him to make a mistake but you all seem to be blind to any other player who does bad.
If suarez dived in that game then you guys would be attacking him for it as well and you would happily just excuse bale. Someone will say no we won't but i have seen people say he is a cunt because he dives..... I can remember a spurs fan saying this but whatever right?
Forget the cunt who wanted to end a dudes career.

Re: The conduct of Luis Suarez
I have not once excused Bale for diving. It makes me cringe that he dived, and after the replay showed that it was a dive I was furious with him and his actions after. No excuses for that. And I understand defending your son when accused, I would do the same as any parent. But, it all changes when they have been proven guilty. After it's been proven you just cannot defend it no matter who it is that did it, son or not.NZG wrote:I can see where leo is coming from, If my son (any family member for that matter was accused of racism then i would stand by them.) The thing with Suarez, like Balotelli in a way, is they don't help themselves. They give people the chance to hate on them, because they do the actions that people hate. If they stopped doing these actions, we wouldn't hate on them. It goes both ways.

No one has excused Bale's diving...
Not that I saw anyways.
He was a dick for trying it. Something he's done a few times this season actually, would rather he didn't as he's better then that.
Unlike Liverpool fans we're not blinkered into defending our players regardless.

I don't deny this. My point is that people blow his shit out of proportion.
Mario is a cunt on the field but we don't see this sort of thread on him do we? People like mario (for the off field antics) so they seem to care less on the shit he does. He elbowed skrtel and stamped on parker, Where is the massive hate thread? where is the massive line of people jumping to insult him?
My point is that not only does suarez bring it upon himself. People seem to care extra because of who he is.

People care because he brings it on himself time and time again, he can't stay out of the incidents and have a quiet game. The fact that it was his first match back after the ban doesn't help his cause.NZG wrote:easley91 wrote:

I hate Balotelli on and off the field. I think he's a c**t and that is one of the very few people I will use that word for, and I hate using it. I believe that there isn't a massive hate thread on him, because people seem to love his off the field character (god knows why).

Re: The conduct of Luis Suarez
Who's that then? If you're talking about Roy Keane, he was never found guilty of that, have you even read the passage which incriminates him? I have, and it's far from conclusive that he even intended to hurt him (he even says he thought the ball was there), how it's been blown up as 'wanted to end a dude's career' I don't know.NZG wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:It is the only example of a United player who has behaved almost as badly as Luis Suarez, and I wanted him out for it. It doesn't get blown out of proportion because of who he is, it gets highlighted because of the sheer volume of disgraceful antics this man does. If anything he gets off lightly, there was an incident in the game on Monday where he tried to get BAE sent off by diving over and that went completely unnoticed because of the other shit he did in this match.
Mario got sent off for the 'elbow' (unfairly I might add), and was fairly punished for his stamp on Parker. He might be a cunt, but at least he's not a sneaky little piece of shit like Suarez, who does everything in an underhanded way. A little honesty goes a long way.

The problem i have is that people will always agree that he meant to do bad. The parker incident, you can see him look at the ball before he kicks yet people refute that? they say suarez is a cunt so he must of meant it.
Exactly, I like mario. He has done things that are admirable but i will call him out on shit he does that is wrong.
If Suarez had given money to a hobo then there would be a thread about how he is giving money to a drug addict.
If Suarez had gone to a school and asked for a toilet then there would be a thread about how he is wasting school's precious time.
If Suarez had helped a kid with a bully then there would be a thread about how he is dealing with things he has no business in and that means he must be evil.
Suarez put his hand in front of the ball in which could of been an instinctive reaction and he kicked ghana out of the world cup, people continue to bring it up even if he got what he deserved from it. Henry put his hand on the ball on purpose and kept ireland out of the world cup. Yet that handball is not talked about anymore, it was swept under the rug because we all love him.
Suarez is a cunt and i will not blindly defend him like others but i will not sit by and let you guys be hypocrite.

Re: The conduct of Luis Suarez
Don't be so naive, he knew exactly what he was doing. You can see him push Parker in the first place (unsporting behaviour by the way) and he knows exactly where he is.
The problem i have is that people will always agree that he meant to do bad. The parker incident, you can see him look at the ball before he kicks yet people refute that? they say suarez is a cunt so he must of meant it.
These are unfounded assertions that show only your paranoia. If Suarez had given money to a hobo then there would be a thread about how he is giving money to a drug addict.

Henry hasn't done anything that disgraceful since, and was apologetic about it afterwards. Suarez was jumping on the shoulders of his teammates and being treated like a hero.Suarez put his hand in front of the ball in which could of been an instinctive reaction and he kicked ghana out of the world cup, people continue to bring it up even if he got what he deserved from it. I try not to be a hypocrite. I never said whether Suarez meant it or not, but he did kick Parker in the stomach, which could still be a sending off. The handball is forgotten because that was a few years ago now, and that is Henry's only real incident that I can remember (I may be wrong and forgotten stuff though).NZG wrote:easley91 wrote:

The reason I think people like Balotelli more is because he is like a cute little child. People act like he does most of the stuff because he just doesn't know better. Also, some of the stuff he does makes people laugh.
Suarez on the other hand seems like a sneaky bastard. He does stuff and acts all innocent about as if he is the victim.
