Balotelli can be a cock on the field, he's actually quite a bit of a diver, probably our most prominent.
Off the field the only thing I can understand hate of him for is his overconfidence. Hating him because he actually does interesting things is stupid, football has enough Gareth Barrys and Scott Parkers.

Stupid is an understatement. Letting of fireworks IN your house is beyond stupid. Could've killed himself and anyone who was there. Lucky to have survived. That is not overconfidence, just utter stupidity.Zzonked wrote:Balotelli can be a cock on the field, he's actually quite a bit of a diver, probably our most prominent.

He wasn't even the one that set them off.

Stop bringing up the handball vs Ghana.
If an English player does it in the EUROS to make sure you manage to get out of the group stage you will be bumming him and he will be a hero for you.

I probably would have done the same if I was on the line, but I'm a hypocrite so I can dislike him for it anyway.

I bet you wouldn't be taking the morale high ground if it were a United player. How about a situation that could occur in the future, say Manchester United are at a Champions League Final and United are one European Cup away from taking over Liverpool's record, would you still cheer the win then? if one of your players save the ball on the line and the follow up pen was missed? Or would you take the morale high ground and say you don't deserve to be ahead of Liverpool and should have the Title taking away from you?

Re: The conduct of Luis Suarez
I'd be disgusted and ashamed if that happened. The whole boasting about records thing though, the number of European Cups you've won, it is just a number that everyone accepts, it's not about what you deserve. You didn't deserve your 5th European Cup, Dudek was constantly cheating, you boast about it because you got the cup though.Scouser_Dave wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:

You'd be disgusted and ashamed but that wouldn't stop you from boasting about the win. That's the problem with your lot though, your quick to point the finger when it's another team but when it comes around to the great Manchester United it's a different story. What is it your fans say? "Where Man' United and we do what we want".

What do you mean? Do a lot of United fans criticise Liverpool fans for gloating over your illegitimate European Cup in 2005 or something?Scouser_Dave wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:

Not just that but the whole we can get away with blue murder because were United, but when it's Liverpool or another team we dislike it's a different story. Your fans are quick to call things to be fair like kicking out divers like Suarez and how Kenny is getting benefits from the Refs, but then forget about Ronaldo conning refs with his antics to win you countless silverware. You can't have it both ways.

What silverware did we win through Ronaldo 'conning refs with his antics', be specific now. As there are countless instances, it shouldn't be too difficult for you to give us a few examples.

Can't remember specific games but you no as well as I do that he was clever at conning refs.
It was incidents like that, that got him branded a cheat, yet still loved by United fans.

Alright, so which pieces of silverware did his 'antics' win us? I can't remember any.

He's a young man in love. Obviously you just love stamping all over love. I wonder what your 'jebus' would think of that, he was a well known lover.

No it wouldn't the ball was coming right at him lower than his head, it was impossible for him to header it at the speed the ball was coming at him, i would of done the same if i was in that situation, he clearly isn't selfish and would rather his team go through than he played.

There's nothing unselfish about it at all...
Scenario A) The ball goes into the goal. Suarez and his team are out of the cup.
Scenario B) He blocks the ball with his hand for a possibility of playing in the 3rd place match or final of a WC.

The problem i have is that people will always agree that he meant to do bad. The parker incident, you can see him look at the ball before he kicks yet people refute that? they say suarez is a cunt so he must of meant it.
Exactly, I like mario. He has done things that are admirable but i will call him out on shit he does that is wrong.
If Suarez had given money to a hobo then there would be a thread about how he is giving money to a drug addict.
If Suarez had gone to a school and asked for a toilet then there would be a thread about how he is wasting school's precious time.
If Suarez had helped a kid with a bully then there would be a thread about how he is dealing with things he has no business in and that means he must be evil.
Suarez put his hand in front of the ball in which could of been an instinctive reaction and he kicked ghana out of the world cup, people continue to bring it up even if he got what he deserved from it. Henry put his hand on the ball on purpose and kept ireland out of the world cup. Yet that handball is not talked about anymore, it was swept under the rug because we all love him.
Suarez is a cunt and i will not blindly defend him like others but i will not sit by and let you guys be hypocrite.
(this may not be you but you can't deny there are people being hypocrites on this situation)
From what I can see, Suarez keeps getting talked about, because he's done a lot more than just one thing. He continues to do stuff and be involved in high profile incidents.
You imply it.
You can see on this thread that people directly say suarez meant it even if the video shows he was looking at the ball and we can't prove it either way.
People hate suarez and then ignore other players who are cunts. People find reasons for other players but not for suarez because he must be an ass.
Henry did something that would of gotten any other player into shit but because we like him we defend him.
ahlycotc wrote:The reason I think people like Balotelli more is because he is like a cute little child. People act like he does most of the stuff because he just doesn't know better. Also, some of the stuff he does makes people laugh.
Suarez on the other hand seems like a sneaky bastard. He does stuff and acts all innocent about as if he is the victim.

I wasn't defending Balotelli, I was just saying why others might like him more than Suarez.
I think they are both cunts.
