RR, do you not have anything better to do than try to convince someone online that God isn't real?

You meet John Simm in 1973Dean wrote:Come on now, let's get our fucking thinking caps screwed on for a minute here. Of course no one knows what its like. You're dead, you can't test anything if you're not alive. I personally think its just like sleeping or being knocked unconsius or maybe a coma. But that could be up for debate.

(21:104) The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.
The destruction of the universe in the Quran resembles the Big Crunch Theory. It basically states that the universe will collapse into a singularity again. But it doesn't matter how the universe ends, the Quran just says it will.

So 'the heaven' refers to the entire universe? Honestly, I would find this a lot more believable if they were more explicit.

Yes, the "heavens" means the universe. As for it being explicit, that's not the purpose of the Quran. It's not a science book.

Where are 'the heavens' equated to the universe in the Quran?

That's just what the Arabic word refers to. There is a distinction between "Heaven" and "the heavens".

How do people think Modric and Martinez would fit in if we signed them?

Ahly, just curious, did you decide to follow Islam because you were born into a Muslim family, or because you chose to later on in life?

Both. I was brought up a Muslim. In my late teen years, I stopped really caring or following my religion though. I went through a phase of soul searching and research. Decided Islam was the best religion that the world has to offer.

It must be linked to Kuled's post?
edit: A discussion about religion was taking place in the Manchester United thread, that's why.

It's weird to be on the other side of this debate now. I can only thank RR for showing me the way of the truth

Welcome to the real world. I always had faith that you'd make it here eventually.

I'd forgotten what a vile scumbag you are, what nasty things you so happily believe in. I hope one day you realise how immoral these beliefs are.
