Went past Blackburn's the other day, from the view I got of it, it just seems it's placed behind some terraced houses. shifty

Yeah man, got there before the bar opened, bit keen. Laughing Food did look nice, although the fat birds cooking it and the kitchen didn't! I only realised there was a bar downstairs as well a few minutes before we left. We were out on the balcony talking to them Budweiser FA Cup promo girls then went to sit in the sun with some Jagerbombs. Was a great pre-match!
I never knew a bar was downstairs either. We got in just before it started to get packed. We were sat next to the big TV.

Was that at the seats closest to the entrance door upstairs? I can't even remember seeing a big TV. Laughing You probably saw all of us there anyway, 9 or 10 lads of my age. One was wearing a stupid Christmas cardigan.

Tynecastle is quite good. 5 minute walk from a train station & McDonalds, Sainsburys, Pubs and Off-Licences very close.

Well kind of. It was like a long bench seat thing and we were near the other end of it. I think it was the second table from the door. I probably saw you lot but didn't take any notice. Laughing

Yeah can picture it now. I do remember seeing people on there eating food so one was probably you. That's three times now we've been in the same watering holes isn't it? Spoons in Thornton Heath, that cricket club and the mighty Metrodome!

Lux, whats so bad about KC? It's a 15 minute walk from town and there are about 7 different buses you could get to either side of the stadium Laughing

    Villa Park was horrible.

Boltons is cool, right on the motorway I think.

I just remember on my coach journey in and out that the Hull stadium seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere.

If I remember rightly, it was in a shit estate and we could see the stadium but the coach wasn't getting any closer. I just remember being fcked off I could see the stadium at the same distance for like 20 mins Laughing

West Ham was also a pain, wednesday night game and the tunnel was closed for some reason. Had to take a diversion, traffic was bad. Ended up getting off and walking.

Probably cos you come straight off the motorway into Hull. If you got a train you'd realise it's in a pretty good location :p

Yeah Villa Park is horrible, right by the motorway but you drive past it and then there's a difficult junction and you have to turn back on yourself. It's scary because there is no central reservation in the middle of the motorway too shifty

The area is a shithole as well.

Cafe's and shops sounds about right for a town centre mate.

We had to do that at Millwall, fireworks were going off in the middle of a road. Neutral

West Ham was a bit annoying having to get shed loads of tubes on the hottest day of the year, but once we got off them the walk wasn't as bad as I expected!

The Lane isn't particularly well placed for those coming on the tube. I get off at seven sisters and its a good 20 min walk to the lane. I don't actually mind it because it gets you in the mood for the match walking up with fans along the high road but it could be closer.

On the flip side old trafford is quite easy to get to. Early in the season i had a pint next to the river and it was a 30 second walk from there (pretty scenic) to the ground - very pleasant.

Old Trafford is a good stadium, Oldham's is also good there's a big retail park just across the road with KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Nandos Wanking only downside is there aint many pubs around.

I didn't like Elland RD the parking was terrible we ended up on a muddy hill a fair bit away from the stadium. The actual inside of the stadium is cracking though thumb

If I was an away fan I wouldn't like Elland Road. In a shithole and there's no pubs by it, only a mcd's or subway but they're rammed on match day. Only good thing is how close it is to the motorway, simple journey for any team on the M1 route.
