Also allows Drogba to play with the freedom knowing he may well not start every game.Laurencio wrote:
If Chelsea wanted to get rid, they'd not be interested in a loan deal.
It's highly unlikely, but I would take it. Be a good deal for both sides IMO.
If we was to loan him out it would probably be to Milan. Were not going to loan him out to a team competing against us to get into the top 4.

Shit yeah forgot about the African Cup of Nations.arsenalap11 wrote:But Drogba and Kalou will be gone in January for a bit, so they'll have Mata, Sturridge, Torres and Malouda left upfront, so Torres will most likely play for them anyway for 4-5 games straight..

I was insinuating that the paper was doing that.

Eddie Johnson?

Looking at Johnson's goalscoring record, he is a woeful striker. Scored 53 goals in 208 matches. Horrid for a striker.

Good on him , would like to see him at Rangers until the end of the season. Good substitute.

Ismaili have agreed terms with Fiorentina over the transfer of Egypt starlet Ahmed Hegazi to the Italian side next summer, the costal club have announced.
Ismaili said that the board has accepted a €1.5million offer from the Serie A club, plus 15% of the 20-year-old’s next sale.
Hegazi has been one of the rising stars in Egyptian football during the past year, which saw him put in some impressive displays in the U-20 World Cup.
The well-built center-half then managed to earn a call-up to the Egypt first team in Bob Bradley’s debut as manager in the 2-0 defeat to Brazil last month.
He was targeted by Granada last summer but Ismaili rejected the bid from the Spanish Liga side.
The Dervishes accepted Viola's offer though as they look to resolve the club's financial crisis.

I call BS. Bolton wouldn't sell him to us in the summer for more than that.Newt wrote:Fourth_Official Fourth Official

Apparently Torres is linked to a possible move to Malaga. Not sure how reliable this is though, saw it on Drogba's facebook page

His contract expires at the end of the season though which is why he will be going for quite cheap. Otherwise clubs will just wait till the end of the season and get him for free.

I reckon he might go to Chelsea, but it's got to be more than that.
If it isn't I don't see why other teams wouldn't just pop in with the same bid. Arsenal offered £6m in the summer so why wouldn't they try again?

Yeh, Fourth_Official usually get transfers right tbf. I don't see what the big fuss is about, Yeh Cahill is a good defender. But he's not that good and he makes far too many mistakes for my liking.

Yeah but it makes no difference, if there's a 5m offer tabled then he wont be free in summer. It's either pay 6m or don't get him at all. It just seems too cheap to face no competition from other clubs.

Seems quite absurd, yes.

You know the more I think about it I think Eddie Johnson will do well for Puebla.
Puebla has a history of rejuvenating player's careers, when a player hasn't been doing that well the second they join Puebla for some reason they improve quite a bit. It happened with Dulio Davino, Daniel Osorno, Herculez Gomez, and Walter Vilchez so it might happen again.
Then again that was back when Chelis was still managing the team. He probably had a big part to play in that. Still I think he'll do alright.
Anyways, there's a rumor going that Porto want Jackson Martinez.
