I said that ages ago. Modric the other way.
We wouldn't let go of Modric for Torres, I mean I'd lov Torres, but I'd prefer to keep Modric. And I'm pretty sure the club feels the same way
Torres and money obviously.

why the hell would we, or anyone else, want Torres?Dan wrote:GK01 wrote:

Razak is a better prospect imo.bitdriver wrote:I do not expect us to spend in this transfer window as we have enough players in each position however if we do spend it will most likely be a defensive signing in form of a Center Back as we have looked pretty shaky whenever Kompany has not played.Kolo is not very reliable and Savic needs more experience in my opinion.
Don't listen to the papers that say BS like Manchester City linked with Lavezzi etc. When they don't have any new story they take a random player and link him with City without any proof we are interested.Quite pathetic in my opinion.
I also hope we get rid of some players like Wayne Bridge and give our best prospect Denis Suarez a loan.

Napoli have quite possibly the best deal of the window. Vargas is a Chicharito with feet like Suarez.
Hamsik
Lavezzi Cavani Vargas

Racist. Insinuating that all Black people look the same.Scuba Steve wrote:Read that some paper in Mexico claimed that Puebla is close to signing Juan Agudelo or Danny Williams. it's actually Eddie Johnson they are close to signing.
Remember all the stuff about Gallas and Adebayor before they joined? They were apparently bad influences behind the scenes and on the pitch. If anyone can get the best out of Torres now it's Harry, and I'd risk it instead of Pav. I know Torres is dreadful at the moment, that's why we'd get a cut price. Some players do well at some clubs and shit at others. Not great at every single one. Bent for example and Bentley. Torres just needs someone to believe in him, lots of players have said how Harry instills confidence in them and gets the best out of them. Why not try with Torres? Maybe a cheeky loan deal where it doesn't hurt us in the long run instead.fluffy_kittens wrote:easley91 wrote:I reckon Harry could get Torres back to form, would certainly take him over Pav. I may not take Torres over Pav, he's a plague to his team wherever he goes. And he would cost far more then Pav. Ade and Defoe have been class this season no reason to add another striker (who wouldn't play very often anyway) into the mix. Plus idk what player you're watching but Torres is just dreadful, he was dreadful his last year at Liverpool and has been dreadful ever since he moved to Chelsea, there's no comeback for him in the foreseeable future, he needs to take a huge step down, go back to La Liga maybe.

A loan deal would be good for them and us, Torres gets games and maybe hits a great run of form while a sulky Torres is out of the dressing room at Chelsea creating a better atmosphere. Also allows Drogba to play with the freedom knowing he may well not start every game.Laurencio wrote:easley91 wrote:

If Chelsea wanted to get rid, they'd not be interested in a loan deal.
