Creative Writing Tips?

You need to watch out about having a twist, it can either be really good, or just be really stupid and ruin the ending

My University career hangs on this, have to compile a creative writing portfolio. Gay.

A couple of the ideas in my head that were going around today in lesson was something to do with, a mental patient getting lose and taking control of the mental unit in a hospital and slowly killing everyone off before leaving.

A prison guard who's stress and constant abuse from the inmates leads him to suicide.

Someone who takes on two persona's a good and bad side I suppose, the story will be told from both the 'villain' and 'victim' twist is, they are the same people and 'voices inside his head tell him to do things' and he goes mad and kills himself.

Not everyone is Steven Spielberg, why do they do this to us?

Dunno, they're sending me another letter soon
