Writing Competition: Edition 2

Seen as I am the reigning Champion, and as far as I can tell there hasn't been a second competition drawn up, I've decided to do things my way. Welcome to the 2nd edition of the writing competition begun by Jelavic.

Rules
-The task is to write an article on a subject outlined by the current reigning champion
-Articles are to be PMed to me by 12 noon on Saturday 3rd September. Articles entered after this stage may still be entered, depending on if I get them before I put the thread up, no guarantees though
-I will anonymously post all articles in a thread. Members who joined before the start of the competition will vote in the thread for the article they think is the best, voting will take place over 48 hours from the time the thread is started. Voting for one's own article is discouraged, but not forbidden.
-It is forbidden to reveal which article one wrote, or to drop heavy hints to that effect
-The Champion decides the topic for next week
-Rules may be added or removed at any time at my discretion

The topic for this week is

'A problem facing one or several major English or European clubs'

Remember, articles are to be PMed to me by 12 noon on Saturday.

I'm interested. It's good to see a set subject this time, but still have good flexibility in choice.

Personally, I would rule out being allowed to vote for your own article. There are one or two people who I could imagine doing so, which would completely destroy a respectable democratic voting system.

I'm calling RR's bluff over this whole forum destroying. All it would take is to put many shells and un-needed shit + send it to the server and boom its down, just depends on how strong Mal has got the server going at.
