Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I don't think Lavezzi is what we need, his goal scoring record is poor and the bottom line is, we have enough creators, we need finishers

Jamie Carragher - and I quote Reina ''He doesn't like me fisting him before the game so he always gives me a high 5 instead of the fist'' I'm sure Soccer AM will be joking about that one...

I spot a couple flaws. We won't beat City and Wolves won't beat Chelsea.

Agree with them except I don't see City losing 2-0 to you.Dean wrote:Liverpool 2-0 Man City

We will either get fucked by City.
Or everyone will play out of there skins, then return to being shit against the 'smaller' clubs.

Beating Chelsea is one thing but City are in another league to them (In the PL).

I think Liverpool could get something tomorrow because City have some tough fixtures coming up so they might rest players.
City's upcoming fixtures:
Liverpool
Arsenal - CC
Norwich
Bayern Munich - CL
Chelsea
Arsenal

People are beginning to over dramatize City's dominance. Been more because their opponents have been dog shit, than because they are on a different level. Bayern raped them and Napoli stifled them, they are nothing near invincible. That said, I expect us to lose narrowly, because we aren't particularly good right now.

They wont rest players against Liverpool tomorrow, they will change things for the Arsenal game in the cup and maybe change a few for Norwich but they will have their full team out against Liverpool tomorrow depending who is fit.Splashy wrote:I think Liverpool could get something tomorrow because City have some tough fixtures coming up so they might rest players.

Adebayor at his best is one of the best strikers in the world. Doubt we'll ever get him though. Spurs will be his first choice and surely they'll spend big money if he continues the way he's doing for them.
