I found Roma quite a lot of fun, not all that much money to begin with, but a solid squad and Totti who just doesn't seem to become a bad player no matter how long he plays.

roma has a lot of potential world class young players. you don't really need to buy anyone long-term except for a centerback and keeper. just play with the default squad and some loanees for the first few seasons. by 2014, most of the youth squad are ready for starters.
