Was there many Basque regens at other teams? Or was it just Sociedad etc?

Have to say, I took James' advice and not used my saves as another chance to play games I lost and it's much more fun. I was like that, on FIFA and FM and it got boring, this got more challenging and I love it.

This team is very good, with Rooney injured for the majority of the season I thought I would be in trouble, but Hernandez has stepped up and scored 26 goals in 31 games, Cleverley really has done well for me too, 10 goals. I only need a win against Arsenal and I'm champions, plus I got an FA cup final against Derby that I should win

3-0 win against Arsenal, champions! I beat Derby in the FA cup final too, the perfect double!

Noy Championship, but Citizen of Hong Kong are a good choice.

Don't think I could ever get into playing a really obscure league. Got no reference points to them and I'd never be able to be a contender for big trophies.

Right sort of team, but I don't really like the latics so wouldn't play as them.

I used QPR last year, they were quite good because when you started to do well you got a pretty substantial budget. Don't want to use them again though, bit boring using the same team two years in a row.

Also, Hong kong is not obscure and the teams in that league make a lot of money a year.

Daglish normally gets sacked, they barely take into account that he has legend status and they portray liverpool as one of the best clubs in the premiership

this is the one i use for faces, badges, and logos

i havent found a good one for kits. i'm using mixed 2-3 from fm-base but some kits are still default

anyone find that there are too many long shots in FM 2012? if i don't say anything to my team, every shot they take is a long shot. 20 shots attempted, 18 or so long shots

if i tell them to work ball into box, it's still too much. about 50%. 20 shots attempted, 12 or so long shots. i experimented over 10 or so games so far, but still too many long shots

anyone else have this problem? i never had this problem at all in the past FM versions which leads me to believe its a FM12 thing

plus i only have 2 players who prefer to shoot over long distances (totti and derossi, no one else). ive managed roma in FM11, 10, 9 but never had this problem. now i always get players with ratings 5.8, etc because "their shooting has been wasteful"

I agree, but my players can score from distance.

I find my new tactic works wonders in defending for about 65 minutes out of the 90

but the first 15 minutes and last 10 minutes my teams just switches off and I concede around 3 goals during those times
