But I'm also curious, how was he captured? I thought the reason they captured Winterfell was because Roderic had taken the forces with him and Theon attacked the city while it was undermanned.

The quality of this show is so consistently high, it's like almost no show I've seen before. Only Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire can really compare to it.
