any way I just watched the first episode and it was very good.

Those White Walkers are sweeet.

I have a few questions:

Is that fat guy (the dude who comes to Winterfell and asks Ed/Ned? to be his second man actually the King or was he made King because that other guy died?

Also that evil brother and hot sister (the chick who weds those barbarian guys) are the son & daughter of the guy who died right?

I wish there were subtitles because I can't make out what they're saying sometimes, can't make out the confusing names either

The fat guy is the king. The guy who died was his second in command (called a Hand in the series).
No. Jamie and Cersie are not Jon Arryn's (the guy who died) children.

The girl with the white hair is Daenerys, the guy with the white hair is Viserys. Er...the little girl who likes to fight is Arya. Not sure about other confusing names.

I got the books on a usb, Gonna give them a read instead of downloading or subscribing to them but the first 3 episode were very good. I liked them, but a tad too much nudity

I only looked through the recent threads because I remember speaking to Eternal about this in the past week or so; must have been in another thread
