Technically it was, because the ball was still in our possession and had not touched an opposition player.

Wasn't there an erroneous offside decision + a ball going out not called in our favour?

Edit: I was unclear, I am talking about our goal.  I think a player was offside then, when Studge retrieved the ball, it had already crossed the line.

Rojo is a pretty good signing. Hummels was never going to leave Dortmund.

I'd take the 2005 Djimi Traore over Shaw. He has won the CL, afterall. And Shaw is merely a player who has done well for Southampton.
