What about Manchester City ?

Really any team can afford him if they look at the profit margins from merchandise.

Now that they are in the Champions League I think they would be willing to pay top money to good players I mean they were after Joe Cole in the summer correct me if im wrong.
I dont know if this is true or not, but a manchester united fan on here said he did not want to sign a new contract with the club a few days ago that would have made him the highest earner in the PL. So maybe he isn't after money but has fallen out with somebody at United or something nobody knows for sure though.
However, realistically speaking the chances of Spurs signing him are very low, but still possible non the less.
AriseForLife wrote:I disagree. If you honestly believe that a club like Hull or Stoke or even Aston Villa could afford playing Wayne £150,000/week then you are mistaken.
Profit margins are not guaranteed because you only reap a profit after all expenses are accounted for and many of the clubs in the PL are currently running at a loss for the most part.
I don't think Daniel Levy would want to play that much money when Champion's League football is not guaranteed every year for the club. It's pretty much a guarantee that United, Chelsea and Arsenal will be in the CL every season, but those on the fringes would probably not want to take such a gamble.
