I really dont know, but ive heard people saying this. Even at the time even though English clubs were winning all these European cups, the others League's like Italy and Germany were thought of as the better League's.

it is only natural for liverpool fans to claim dalglish is superior to keegan because dalglish play for liverpool longer and became coach and whatever has his reputation while keegan left liverpool because he wanted more wages offered in germany and higher standard of football.

unanimous pundits, former players and journalists and all knowledgeable people in general all agree that keegan was by far the superior player. dalglish was good replacement for him but player head to head keegan is the winner, that is an undeniable and factual statement.. his individual award is proof of this

and of course serie a and bundesliga was better then england first division. first division in england was terrible remember how u say, barcelona cannot speak for the strength of their league?

Scotland did a bit better than I expected but Spain could still have scored 4/5/6 easily.

Might have better luck in the world cup group if Levein brings Scotland's best striker back.
