Yes not many players would have admitted it, but he did just catch him. But there was a sliding tackle from Welbeck on Carragher and Carragher deserves praise for the way he reacted and the both shook hands, when some players would have maybe tried to have got him booked.

He received criticism because he made a mistake vs WBA, and conceded a soft goal to Walcott against Arsenal, other than that hes been quality. Now stop talking shit before you embarrass yourself even further.

De gea was top class today and saved United with some top class saves, and yes maybe he has made a few mistakes but he has also pulled out some good saves in other games. But its always the mistakes people seem to remember, im hoping he makes some more, but he is young and will eventually prove how good he is to the doubters IMO.

75% pass completion, not bad against the best team in the league, especially when you consider that most of the passes that didn't find our man were crosses into the box, which are all about putting the ball in dangerous areas, not necessarily finding someones feet, and not one of his misplaced passes put us under any immediate pressure.
Made 4 interceptions, more than Fletcher and Jones combined, three were in United's half too.
Won 5 out of 6 tackles, once again more than Fletcher (1) and Jones (3) combined.
Quite surprising that he managed to win the ball back for us 9 times despite strolling around for 90% of the match isn't it?
