Haven't been on recently, anyway a 2-2 draw against Notts County yesterday apparently the penalty decisions for both teams were a bit dodgy and Harrad should have buried two chances for us.

Ctfc~ced our fans love Allen too!
A few comments on the messageboard
A few comments on the messageboard
Notts were a joke. Hughes trying to get Sodje sent off in the first half and Bishop trying to make out that Schuey elbowed him too. The one that really took the biscuit was the guy who screamed in "agony" after Sweens nicked the ball off him then got straight up once he realised he hadn't conned the ref.
Great to see the calm, articulate, measured RB sticking up for himself when "Mad Dog" was having one of his rants on the touchline. I know which one I would like to represent my football club.
All in all, a good point against a horrible side and we probably would have won the game with stronger officiating.
I am so glad I am not a Notts County fan having to pay to watch that week in week out, watching Martin Allen shout "tactics" from the bench was laughable, asking his players to hoof it up into our box.
You missed that they cheated their way into the division and their laughable appeals for everything and attempts to influence the ref shows how they intend to continue.
They just about sum everything that is wrong with football
Ditto, By far the most shocking team tactics & attitude of a playing team & manager i've seen in a long time. Absolutely horrendous !
Even every free kick & throw in they tried to take 5-10 meters further up the field, they should be ashamed of themselves, though something tells me they won't.
Theres no way they deserve 1 point from that kind of display, shocking !
I just watched Martin allens preview and post match comments on county player, that guy does not come across as being to sharp, in fact he seems thick as too short planks, bit of a fruit loop by the looks of it,

Fucking hate the County lot. So deluded it's unreal. They honestly think they're bigger than Forest and a lot think the tides are turning inNottingham. Fucking ridiculous the lot of them. I had an argument with a County fan once who claimed their history was better than ours. He thought they'd won 2 division 1 titles, 1 FA Cup and 1 European Cup. He classed the Anglo Italian Cup as the European Cup and was deadly serious in his beliefs that it was better than our achievements
They also deny that our league cup game was their cup final they brought 6000 to the City Ground, yet their average home attendance in the league is only 6000 too

I hate them too Forest the season they went up they thought they would make it to the premier league a few years after and to see they had no money after all and were in heaps of debt made me smile and i don't say that for many clubs.
Theres also 11 pages on Lee Hughes on the forum who was apparently swearing at our fans.

Away tickets for Doncaster are all sold out don't think we were given many though and there's a load more to buy on the gate.

Getting as bad as QPR. they have no imagination there, they just pick the game between the two highest placed teams every week to feature, so predictable.

Didn't someone say here that Accrington took 31 fans to their last away match? Wonder how many they'll bring to Crawley tomorrow.

Agree 100% lads. This is just about the only thread which doesn't end up in one massive petty argument all the time . And when I see that new posts have been made in this thread, I know they won't be gifs or a one word post with a simile.

Anyway, back to the football. Who do you league one and league 2 fans want in the Fa cup first round? And how do you rate your sides chances in tommorow s game?
For the cup I'd like a very small side away, or failing that a winnable home tie. If I could hand pick a tie then I'd probably choose to play Forest Green Rovers away.
As for tommorow's game I read on the Cheltenham forum yesterday that over 900 away tickets have been brought up by Argyle fans. They have now been given half the in2print stand as well (side stand) so we could be looking at around 1500 Argyle fans, due to the good news they received earlier. Should be a great atmosphere but I hope their players aren't too fired up as we need to bounce back quickly after losing to Crewe on tuesday.

Is the FA Cup 1st round draw imminent then? I don't know really, perhaps Charlton at the Broadfield or Sheffield Wednesday or Sheffield United as we could have a former Premiership side visiting us.CTFC~ced wrote:Agree 100% lads. I REALLY want Brighton, but I know we have to go through to have a chance of drawing the Albion. Crawley v Brighton - The 2 big Sussex clubs head to head for the first time in the FA Cup since they knocked us out in 92 or 93 (my dad has told me before but I can't remember with year exactly). That would surely get TV coverage.

13:30 itv 1 on sunday. If you really want to get Brighton it would be best to avoid the bigger sides and just face small clubs into round 3 like Bury and Hereford

Sweet cheers! Got to look out for 16 then. And yes a lesser side would be easier for the first few rounds but I just feel that no matter who comes to Crawley we have an excellent chance of winning. Draw a big league 1 side and get a massive crowd in, we could get a great intimidating atmosphere (like vs Swindon and vs Derby last year). I'll still go to the game if it's at home and possibly away if I have the money.
Who would you like out of the draw?
