Your only point worth mentioning is number 2 which is utterly slanderous, do you have any proof of this?
Yes I suggest you look at the majority of your posts for proof.

ResurrectionRooney wrote:Alan wrote:
Dont talk pish as per usual, Dalglish took over and won the double or a treble in his first season and yes he had the basis of a great team. But the season before Liverpool had won nothing losing in the FA Cup semi final, finishing runners up to a great Everton team and well Liverpool had lost in the European cup final to Juventus at Hysel. But he changed the team himself in 1985,86 season, he brought Steve Nicol and Jim Beglin into the team at both full back postions and the full backs of Phil Neal and Alan Kennedy were phased out and brought in a few new players and changed the team around.
But he only won the League title in the last game of the season, when he scored the winner himself at Chelsea so it was not exactly easy to win the title and Everton had a really good team and West ham and Manchester United were challenging for most of that season and then the following week after the Chelsea game he won the FA Cup and had earlier that season won the Screens sport super cup and lost out in the semi final of the league, so maybe Dowie would have struggled to win all that as player manager. In fact the start of Dalglish's first season in charge Manchester United had won there first 10 League games and had a 10 piont gap at that time, but eventually Liverpool and the others caught up.
And then in 86,87 Ian Rush was leaving at the end of that season, and Liverpool finished runners up after being 9 pionts clear at one time and lost to Arsenal in the League cup final when for the first time ever Liverpool lost a game in which Ian Rush had scored in. But after that season in his 3rd season the team changed again and it was Dalglish who changed it about, with players like Beardsley, Barnes, Aldridge, McMahon, Houghton and Spackman and the likes, all Dalglish singings the main part of that great team that went 29 League games unbeaten from the start of the season and only lost 2 league games in a 40 game League season.
And they played some of the most attactive attacking football ever seen in the Englsih game that season and for the next 3 to 4 years, losing out for the his 2nd league and Cup Double when Wimbledon beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final and the following year, the year of Hillsborough he also just missed out on the League and Cup Double when a last minute winner from Arsenal won them the title for them. And that season Liverpool had to play lots of catch up games because of Hillsbrough and i think at one piont were 19 pionts behind Arsenal because of this.
So he took over the European Cup Finalists, a side who had won the League one year previous and could easily have beat Juventus if not for the bloodthirsty and vengeful Liverpool fans. The point is, he was allowed to build on the base of a fantastic side, Hodgson didn't have that luxury, and Dalglish won't have it this season - that's why he's going to fail.
The bloody thirsty Liverpool fans and fans from other places in Britain, there were well know English firms also at Hysel. But once again you have to make it out that it was always these terrible Liverpool fans, that had travelled all over Europe for years making it to European finals and had never caused much bother at all. And the piont is Dalglish was trusted to build that side back than and his managerial record is better than Hodgsons.

Yeah, alright, the Liverpool fans behaved very well at Heysel, it was those bloody other English firms causing trouble for Liverpool and Juventus.
Yeah, Dalglish was trusted, but the fact that Liverpool directors at the time trusted him to take over didn't mean he was automatically a good manager, it would have been the same directors who appointed Souness, who had to build on a side that Kenneth had taken downhill and abandoned in the middle of a season. If Hodgson had been appointed as the manager of that Liverpool side do you really think he would have done much worse?

Funny you claim to know about football, Dalglish left Liverpool when they were top of the League and still in the FA Cup so stop posting complete bullshit about something you obviously no nothing about. And you can keep going on about him abandoning Liverpool, he needed a break after Hillsborough and if you cant understand that or are trying to get a bad responce from Liverpool fans, then you are one sad individual. He needed a break, and being the man he was knowing he could not give Liverpool his 100% like he always had throughout his career there, he did what he thought was best for Liverpool football club.

Not at all, I don't even hate him, I simply don't like him. I didn't have any problem with him until he drove Hodgson out in January, and started behaving in a disgraceful way. I consider Michael Owen to be Liverpool's greatest ever player, and I don't hate him.

Drove Hodgson out, what you mean in his car where did you get this inside information. And well if you consisder Owen to be Liverpool's greatest player ive said before he must be one of the greatest players ever to have played for Manchester United. Owen being a forum European footballer of the year and must also have be better than Scholes, Giggs, Cantona and the likes. Well thats according to your methods, not mine.
But seriously, you do post some complete bullshit, do you not. I mean the others in this forum have brains, and will read you bullshit and will realise this more and more, especially if you keep coming out with this shit. Has Kenny sorry Kenneth and one of his football teams let your football coupon down for a lot of money or something, maybe thats how you really dislike him, because anyone with a football brain will know he is a Legend and a great man.

No, I mean by showing his face at games, presenting himself as an alternative, making it public knowledge that he wanted the job ahead of Roy Hodgson in the first place. He was on a hiding to nothing, Roy Hodgson, when the fantasy Messiah was sat in the stands like the Grim Reaper.
I judge Kenneth Dalglish on his actions. You judge him through red tinted spectacles.

Re: Kenneth Dalglish Vs. Roy Hodgson
In my esteemed opinion, the answer is quite clearly Roy Hodgson. He is a fantastic manager and one of the best around. With the exception of doing well at big clubs, he has all that you could possibly ask for in a manager.
Dalglish is also a very good manager, but many tend to overrate him. He is especially overrated at Anfield, because of his exploits there as a player.
He does deserve credit for the job that he did at Liverpool and Blackburn, yet we have to be honest, winning the title with either side was not incredibly difficult. He took over a Liverpool side which were among the world's best and he took over a Blackburn side with plenty of cash at his disposal. The only permanent job where he did not walk into a team that were either the best in the land, or had more money to spend than the rest of their competition, was at Newcastle. He turned out to be a complete failure while there.
