Very misleading stats which include the easy-peasy games in the early stages of the EL to boost Roy's score. Well done. Want a cookie?
Let's have a look at how they compare in the Premier League shall we .. ?
Roy - P20 W7 D4 L9
Kenny - P23 W12 D4 L7
Roy point total = 25
Kenny point total = 40
That's a big 15 point gap right there, my friend.
Let us also have a look at goal difference stats.
Under Roy - 23 goals scored, 26 goals conceded = -3 goal difference.
Under Kenny - 39 goals scored, 24 goals conceded = +15 goal difference.
So, in a nutshell .. Nice try RR, but better luck next time.
On the other hand, Kenneth had the fans backing him from the start whereas Roy Hodgson didn't, Kenneth has spent an awful lot more money under kind and generous owners, whereas Roy had to deal with the evil Hicks and Gillet. Kenneth was also under no pressure for most of the season, whereas poor old Roy had to deal with ownership changes.
Roy also had to deal with the pressure to win the Premier League from Liverpool fans, with Steven Gerrard making stupid claims about how Joseph Cole is just as good, if not better than Lionel Messi, making expectations even more enormous that usual, and he had his best player taken from him 1 week before the end of the transfer window. Besides this, he had two Liverpool legends trying to steal his job for much of the time he was Liverpool manager - even TSO would struggle in those conditions.
When Kenneth took over at Liverpool, they were out of the League Cup, 4th place was impossible, let alone the title, Liverpool were immediately dumped out of the FA Cup and he was given a free pass for that thanks to Howard Webb being scapegoated, as per, and it being his first game, and no-one really expected him to win anything since they'd had 18 months of Liverpool being dogshit. When Roy Hodgson took over, Liverpool fans expected him to win all of those things. Now that the pressure is on Kenneth he's starting to crack as well, talking about referees conspiring about Liverpool and trying to get favouritism from them.
