Plymouth Argyle Football Club (In Administration) today announced that Peter Reid has left his position as manager of the football club.
It is crucial that we give ourselves time to attempt to preserve Football League status and therefore it is felt that a change of manager now is the only option.

He has stuck by them and put his all in to a club that is sinking fast. He's gone months without pay to help them when he could of resigned as he wasn't being paid his earned salary.
Sad to see this happening to a club who were pushing for a playoff spot in the Championship under Ian Holloway.

No he hasn't. I've also just looked at some old articles: Peter Reid paid the clubs heating bills out of his own pocket and he auctioned off his FA Cup winners medal to pay staff.

But they will have to pay wages he's owed. I was getting confused. He'll get his owed wages but he won't be eligible for a payoff which he deserves.

Poor Plymouth I hope the players got the back wages they were owed when they were not really getting paid. Their ship has sunk very quickly and I would not be surprised if they fold after the end of this season. Sad to see this happen.
