I think it will be McLeish...... If Man City are out of the title race by around xmas then I would expect Mancini to be sacked as well

I think Steve Kean could be the first to go. He's already on a knife edge and it would be a miracle if he can save his job until the end of the season. McLeish will still probably get sacked, but I think Lerner will give him a chance first before making a decision, as he will want to prove the fans that he did make the right appointment.
People will probably come in here and say AVB, but that's not going to happen. Even if Chelsea start to struggle like last season, he will be given the full year, as Ancelotti was, before getting sacked at the end of the season.

Steve Kean, but I think Martiniez could be the most likely to leave.

Apart from Kean, I really can't see anyone else getting sacked unless like one of the top 4 finish like 18th or something.

Polls really need to be made public, so we can see what idiots voted for Ferguson/Dalglish etc.

Martinez wont leave or get sacked. He is a good manager and Wigan have fought to keep him this summer when they managed to persuade him to reject Villa.

You said it there, they fought, why would they fight if he was 100% committed, if they are very low then I think he may leave.

Quite a few will probably get sacked throughout the season, not just Kean. Here is who I think will get the punt during the season, in no particular order.
Steve Kean
Alan Pardew
Alex McLeish
Neil Warnock
Steve Kean
Alan Pardew
Alex McLeish
Neil Warnock

The owner has already said the season will be a disappointment if Liverpool do not get top 4.Scott wrote:Mal wrote:Scott wrote:Polls really need to be made public, so we can see what idiots voted for Ferguson/Dalglish etc.

McLeish or Kean will be sacked/fired first imo.

No answer because you haven't got one. There's only one manager who is immune to the sack right now and that's Fergie.

Oh, I do have an answer. I just chose not to say it because I thought it was blatant. Obviously it isn't, so I'll explain my facepalm to you now.
I never said Kenny can't be sacked. But to vote him as being the first of the whole list to get sacked is absurd. To argue against that is stupid, so don't even bother.
If anyone is immune to getting the sack, it's Arsene Wenger.

So if all teams start their campaigns fairly well for their expectations and Liverpool lose their first 8, there's no chance of Kenny being the first sacked? Of course there is, you deluded fool. Any manager can be sacked first.
I'm not saying it will happen but anything is possible in football.

Possible, but highly unlikely. My point is, I don't think the people who voted Dalglish actually believe he will be the first to get the sack.

Neil Warnock I think, he seems to always be on the edge of losing his job.

After Ferguson and Wenger I'd say Dalglish is least likely to be sacked. Unless they went on an absolutely catastrophic run and the fans were ready to let him leave it'd be PR suicide to let him go. Of course, bottling it and resigning is a different matter.

I wonder how much it would take for Fergie to be sacked. Thankfully it'll never happened, but would he get sacked if we went out and lost something like 20 games in a row.

It has to be Steve Kean. Blackburn have turned into a laughing stock since Venky's took over.

Dalglish won't be sacked. Everyone's on his side at the moment.
And on Mal's point of him going on a catastrophic run of games, you could say that about any of these managers.
Based on last season and the club's ambitions I'm going to say Roberto Mancini. If he deson't perform in Europe or mount a serious title challenge I can't see him sticking around. The same goes for AVB but I reckon he'll do good.
