LB - TOTY Baines (40k)
CDM - IF Barry (40k)
RM - IF Maxi (50k)
LM - IF Bale (90k)
ST - IF Bent (120k)

Which gives me 375k, that gives me 10k for improvements & subs.

Anyone know how long it takes to go from being a player to a player manager on FIFA career mode? I'm midway through my fifth season as a player.

I take Fucile out completely, he's just shit. Replace him with Fernando, have Guarin and Moutinho in the middle with James/Christian and Varela beasting it on the wings.

I always use weird formations and switch players around! It seems the default formations never suit my style. What, in a flat 4-4-2? I'll try those suggestions when I start playing FIFA again.

Whenever I get my Xbox back I'll use this gem of a line-up in ranked. Was sing Man United against typical 5 star players but the last few games I played a few weeks ago were nowhere near as fluent as the games when I had just started using them.

Duude. I only played as Porto today and the line-up and formation is almost exactly the same as that.

Played one with them, and beat Chelsea comfortably. Falcao and Hulk both scoring. Unfortunately Falcao is just not for me. I just don't know what his strengths are.

In whatever formation I use, I always pick those players. Don't really have a set formation, I used to be the best at 442 but now I just suck at it.

Edit: Just noticed I said James/Christian when I really meant Belluschi.

But yeah,Belluschi and Verela on the wings.

The way I see it, Porto are bound to be improved in Fifa 12. And since I like playing as them, I can't wait.

@Eternal - Yeah I only really like 4-2-2-2 and my custom formation Just threw that all together and it was alright when I played friends - just can't defend with them.

@Marvin - It will be pretty hard to put that together, might have to go back to 4-4-2 which I'm getting progressively worse at being able to utilise.

Might try a diamond 4-4-2 instead of a flat one as it's a lot better for me.

Guarin as the defensive mid, Varela on the left, Belluschi on the right and João M in the hole could potentially make me

EA have got something against me, i swear.

They still haven't transferred Jack Cork to us on UT, and they do Riise and Bothroyd straight away.

Silver market is well easy to make profit in, bought 5 Richaylrsons (?) for 2k each, sold for 7k each. Bought Geovanni for 51.5k sold him for 70k. Made probably about 30k in 2 hours. Not much, but it can go to improvements for my team.

Used to use that formation a lot on Fifa 10 and in the early days of Fifa 11. However, when you come across people who use someone like Lennon to run down the wing and cross the ball in...then you're pretty fucked.

There's a very, very strange thing going on in my recent H2H matches. I haven't encountered Real Madrid in ages. Surely I haven't escaped the noob zone?

Also played as Sweden just for the sake of it. All my attacks are basically average pass, average pass, average pass to Ibra, goal. The man always works wonders, his long range shooting is without equal. Apart from Ronaldo.

I need to find a team that consistently beats the typical 5 star teams (Real, Barca, Chelsea). You use Inter a lot Eternal? What formation?

Btw I think Rooney and Lampard have the best shooting apart from Ronaldo; scoring a lay off free-kick with England is easier than a one on one with the leeper sometimes

Inter's my one. The default formation works wonders. I just take off Chivu, put on some pacy right back with some random name. Take out Pazzini, put in Milito. My typical goal would be passing down the middle, a few one-two's, and eventually Eto'o gets in behind the defense. I feel I don't use Sneijder to his full potential. Now I'm thinking AC Milan with 4222.

People who pass around the back to protect a lead late on are sad sad cunts. No hope for them.

Same, I used to beast with Sneijder but when I've played with Inter he's just disappeared. I'll probably just chance it with United a few more times and see what happens, they were solid for me up until the last few games.

The last 5 minutes or so. I didn't bother chasing the ball, or sending messages after, as such people consider it a noteworthy victory if they think they have riled someone up through their own stupidity. Such as a certain few on this forum.

I don't know what is the worst unbalanced gameplay mechanic in this game. Far too many to choose from, and fat chance that fifa 12 is going to resolve them. If they do, then some others will appear.

Why is it that whenever I play as AC Milan, the retarded opponent always insists on changing to Chelsea? Boring cunts.
