Ben's Crawley Thread

Haha the noise you make when the Torres goal goes in is mad! Love it behind the goal with the Derby and Crawley fans separated in there packed out stands.
Its the same for Gigg tbf for instance when we play Rochdale next week the atmosphere will be like this.....

But where are all these fans on a normal match day? Proper pisses me off.

On my phone at the moment so I'll watch that vid tomorrow. Yeah pisses me off too, but over the year more and more are coming each game. I admit I'm a Spurs fan but Crawley come first for me, and they should for the people in this town. By the end of the season whatever the result is and wherever we finish in the league, I think we'll have the whole town supporting us on a constant basis. Not like when most turned up for the FA Cup ties last year then buggered off and didn't come back. We got 2700+ of just Crawley so numbers are picking up now which is great to see.

Our away support is class though tbf, we brought 800 to Sheffield Saturday and we only get 2700 home fans.

If he's like 20 years old it's him, and I went to school with him. Also look up Ben Godfrey, someone else I know. Scout him and see if he's any good for League 2.

He used to play for Charlton, and he was in it last year. Was such a weird feeling seeing someone in the game that I actually knew. Sweet, maybe I'll sign him for my Crawley game next year.

He must've been good then Yeah it's well weird, I've got a guy in the year above at college who's on it for Leeds as well so I always make him play. And the guy who is Man Utd u18's captain on the game I used to play with.

When I said Charlton, I meant Charlton u18's and reserves. Don't think he ever played for the first team.

I think he scored quite a few goals, wherever he is now god knows.

September Update:

Bit of a turn around Won every game against tough opposition, each team was in the top 7 at the time that I played them, 2 of them were top. And I won nearly every monthly award.

Looks as though you're scoring plenty of goals, think the side has settled now?

Yeah I was really optimistic and thought the side had settled brilliantly, but then we've lost the two games since then

Davies is a beast! He's assist leader and also highest average rating in the league.

How's the real Torres doing?

Not too great, he started the season really poorly so after about 6 or 7 games he's been dropped to the bench

Also, turns out I didn't lose 2 on the bounce, I was 3-0 down at half-time so assumed I was gonna lose again but then I brought on Febian Brandy for his debut and he bagged 5

Come on Torres! He's here, he's there, he's every fucking where! (including outside a Subway ) Sergio! Sergio!

I love chants like that, best one was when Lee Bowyer wore no pants when he went to court and we chanted 'he's here, he's there, he wears no underwear, Lee Bowyer, Lee Bowyer!'

Thing is watching 90 minutes at Crawley, Sergio is literally everywhere putting tackles in. He's not the typical Argentine flair player, he has got skills but he can damn sure tackle as well. What a legend.

Ahh I might remember that, I've just been deploying him as some kind of flair attacker.

Kind of like Modric I suppose, who can tackle and hold of players when he needs to. He's also got quality hair.

October Update

Another good month, bar the first fixture. I scored an absolute shedload which was fun. I came 3rd in Manager of the Month, Michael King won Young Player of the Month and placed second in Player of the Month.
