Because there was a rumour we would use Ozyakup for the United game because we were short of CMs, so that means he has a pro contract? Sorry, am a bit confused atm Laughing

I think quite a few of the reserve players have proffesional contracts. Not really sure how it works tbh.

Gutted I missed the match. Was on my flight. Had to make do with match of the day.

Couldn't believe how almost every United goal was pretty much a 'wonder' goal. Fucking hell.

Poland should have won if their shit striker put away those 1-1's lol
That was FC Koln player Peszko, he is a winger who produces about 10-15 assists a season, and only 1-2 goals.

He makes lots of intelligent runs but he is shit at shooting and scoring, always has been. Smuda's tactics don't suit Peszko, and Lewandowski passing the ball to the left all game didn't help. Peszko is also right footed and a right sided midfielder, so playing on the left said didn't aid his game either.

Oh and you guys don't care about Peszko, I forgot...

Szczesny had a world class game. He made many brilliant saves all match that I don't think even the best keepers in the world could have pulled.

    Mertesacker had an alright game.

I really hope he is on FIFA this year.

I think some or most of the people who are listed as young professionals on the Arsenal website have professional contracts.

Rather he said that then saying we're shit and will never compete....

Shows some fighting spirit, which we tend to lack.

Saying that, I bet if he had said we wont compete you'd be facepalm that too.

That's a good point BS, I hate to say this, but Filippo is behaving like the Liverpool fans did last year, victimising people for innocuous comments in the press.

Rather the biased questions were not asked in the first place by whoever was interviewing him and relayed the questions on the article.

In other words forcing a player to making comments to appease the retarded fans.

Realistically there's no fucking way that we will catchup to UTD with 8 points. We started the season aiming for a 4th/3rd place finish and that's now looking difficult too with Chelsea/City/Liverpool.

It was soo embarrassing the club refunded everyone who bought a ticket a free ticket to another away game Surprised

Most of our talented youngsters in the reserve do. Must suck for Spanish clubs if that's the case as they can't sign pro contracts there till they're 18.

If I'm honest Mertesacker was quite bad in that game. The German media also said. Though tbh Boateng was also pretty shit. I just hope to god that he's not like that for us.
Newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung claimed he looked “disorientated and
lacking dynamism” in his “failed comeback”; Die Welt said “Mertesacker
showed once again that he is overwhelmed with swift counterattacks”; and
Bild called him one of the “losers of the week”.
