Favourite playing conditions?
When playing football, what weather conditions do you prefer? I tend to like playing in the rain. Nothing beats it for me.

Re: Favourite playing conditions?
I love the unpredictability that the rain brings when playing football. You just never know what is going to happen. There are always going to be an increased number of errors as well.
Also, I tend to play a lot better in the rain, so that could be seen as a bonus for me I guess.

Yeah I play in defense/defence (mental breakdown can't think which is right?) but am still pretty shit, but in the rain, there are much more errors, which makes me look better , but I always seem to play better in the rain for some reason.

I just can't take to indoor football. It's decent, but it just doesn't feel real...

I prefer to play in a light drizzle. It keeps you cool and the ground is damp so there's not many errors and it's perfect for slide tackling

I think it all depends on what sort of players that you are coming up against a defender.
If you're playing against someone with close ball control who is tricky, then it can be hard. They'll constantly try to trick you into the wrong move and they'll probably try to force you into slipping as well. If you're playing against a faster kick and run player, then they will probably overplay the ball, meaning that you have more time to intercept the ball and deal with it.

defence is British, defense is AmericanIIBentII39 wrote:Yeah I play in defense/defence (mental breakdown can't think which is right?) but am still pretty shit, but in the rain, there are much more errors, which makes me look better , but I always seem to play better in the rain for some reason.
Playing in the rain is fun, especially when it's warm, but the best condition for me to really play my game is when it's a bit cloudy but still not cold at all, playing on a summer afternoon when it's mostly like 30 degrees is horrible though, hate that.

I agree about the temperature thing. I would much rather play in the freezing cold than when it's roasting. At least you can warm yourself up by running about in the cold.

If the pitch is already very slippy and wet, then I do like it to be a slight drizzle.

Sleeves rolled up, gloves on, so you look like a knob head.
