Legendary Players - Still Playing

Lets say they have to be 34 or older just to make it interesting.

I guess the list is for players that could be seen as legendary only for our generation...

And Hans Jorg Butt, despite being incredibly mediocre throughout his career, he in my books is legendary for that one goal he scored which resulted in a conceding goal a second after the kick off.

Would be rather difficult for legends of past generations to still be playing, no?

I hear Pele still kicks it around in the backyard with his grandkids. Does that count?

Yah, but many of these players would only be seen as 'good' players by previous and future generations. Not necessarily legends.

Legends will be people like Henry, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Beckham, and so forth.

Define Legendary. If you mean legends in their clubs there are a ton, if you mean legends in the game, there's really only one and he's not even 25 yet.
