Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Sheffield United fans were shit . We ousung them when we singing walking down the manny road and they had their anthem on. One more thing today the referee was fucking shocking! Gave them so many free kicks its untrue not blaming the loss for that but he seriously just listened to the crowd.

I feel like that for Crawley this season, every home game we've won and I have a season ticket.
Congrats on the win though lads!
Thanks, Dagenham & Redbridge missed two open goals though, one where Townsend made a crucial clearance and one where the blased over from the edge of the box. We should have scored again straight after our goal though...
Was a boring game tbh, we had more shots on goal though Not sure what the lino was thinking giving Dagenham a peno as it was a quality tackle by Greener, glad the ref agreed with us!
Winnall
Yeah only got exciting after we scored and that was the 85th minute
I was level with the lino (on the opposite side) and I could see it was fair even though I was slightly impeded so he must have seen it).
That was a quality goal from him, is he a three month or season long loan? A good début for him anyhow...

Probably in case some team is several hours away from home which is unlikely.easley91 wrote:Why does the Football League show have to be on so late when it could've been on earlier tonight?

Couple of months i think, Keyte said the Fleetwood money (~40-80k) is available to be used to loanees etc. so HOPEFULLY we can get Winnall on loan for the season

Yeah hopefully, I think it is nearer the 80K mark for Fleets as it is 'a substantial five figure sum'

Just want to see our highlights, Tubbs' free-kick is a must watch, and I wonder if they'll show the challenge on Doughty which the ref thought was a dive. As well as the slap on Torres' face which went unpunished.

No sign of Doughty's penalty claim, Torres' slap and Akpan's skied miss.

Off to Lord Harewood's memorial dinner soon. Can't actually be bothered that much, massively hung over.

Wondered where you were! Your boys were pretty poor yesterday to be honest, the goal was quality though (lucky or not).
Saw on one of my mate's facebook today that Sergio Torres was spotted outside Subway last night!

Interesting to note that Crawley have not lost a home league game since Oct 16th 2010 which was against Newport County. In fact that was our last home defeat in all competitions (aside from friendlies of course).

If it makes you feel better, you weren't the first side to get beat at Crawley and you certainly won't be the last. I said in another thread, (Ben's Crawley FM thread) that not many if any at all will take points off us at home. We haven't lost at home in all competitions since October last year! Don't worry about it. Watch Tubbs's free-kick though, right into the top corner and when he set up for it, it was one of those where you just knew it was going in.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
I'm not to bothered about losing considering your home record. I also don't expect much from us ever because of our tendancy to do badly. We always seem to be the side on the football league show who have the poor results that are boring unless we're getting thrashed
Even though we're tipped for play-offs I don't ever expect the predictions of the media. I expect to be in league two next season. Would be a shame to be in there when we have a strong side but it's what we do best, fuck it all up!
I will watch the highlights tomorrow or something. Can't be bothered right now.

At least if you wait til tomorrow you can watch extended highlights on the BBC Sport website. Should watch em anyway, I'm going to tomorrow, as I'd like to see a few things that weren't shown on the show last night.

Anyway fair play to you for beating us that badly. We do have a decent side, with a decent defence. Our attack is good as well so I give credit where credit is due.easley91 wrote:Mutant123 wrote:I'm not to bothered about losing considering your home record. Only been to the memorial once and I think we lost 2-0 with Gillespie missing a penalty for us .
I went in the tent stand for that game and thought the view was shite . Will definitely go in the terrace this time and will try and get there early so I can see the game .
Hope you beat Wycombe as I really can't be arsed travelling to Wycombe for a JPT game.
If you do beat them then We'll win 3-2 in both games with Duffy getting 2 hattricks . You heard it here first

I should say that although the on field performance wasn't up to scratch, you're support was a real credit to your club and you should be proud.
