Still got Bishop, that's if he doesn't walk in a wind because it will surely injure him

All the strikes we're linked with are proven in leagues below, but not in the championship

Another great performance and another great result against a decent Torquay side.
3 wins on the bounce now. Haven't said that in a while .
Hopefully we won't lose our best players in the next transfer window.. Again..

With the sale of Gradel, it looks like Bates has got himself another few million for his golden coffin.

Sheffield United is going to be such a good atmosphere with all the things what have happened this week but we need a big signing to lift our optimism.

This is gonna be such a shit day, apparently teams have already agreed fees for Jerome & Dann whilst moves for Beausejour, Ridgewell and Zigic are likely to happen. If we lose these we would have lost 25 players and only brought in 8 and all of them for free.

How the hell can you lose 25 players? Are you including youths?

You'd like to think so, but time's running out, Bates has hardly splashed the cash anyway so I can't see him wanting to at this late stage.
We do need someone though, you can't just lose 18 goals and 7 assists from a team without trying to replace it.
Just hope nobody nicks Snoddy, apparently Blackburn and 2 other Prem teams are keen...

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Damn, losing them two in the last two days could really fuck up your whole season.
Any opinions on him? Looks like another player who couldn't cut it in the championship, we don't need another one of them...
Skysport.com are reporting that Coventry City and Brighton are interested in signing out of favour Leeds United striker Billy Paynter before the transfer window closes at 11:00 pm tonight.
Leeds manager Simon Grayson will allow the 27 year old striker to leave Elland Road after he failed to replicate his prolific scoring form that he had at Swindon before he joined Leeds.
Injury meant Paynter made only 22 appearances for Leeds last season and he scored just the one goal.

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson is poised to make a deadline day bid for Coventry City captain Sammy Clingan.
Leeds made an enquiry about the Northern Ireland midfielder during the summer break but were told he was not for sale by Coventry City, but are now back again to try to tempt the club to sell now rather than risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season when his contract expires.
The 27 year old joined Coventry from Norwich in 2009 for an undisclosed fee on a three year contract and was made club captain by Andy Thorn during the summer pre-season training this year. Thorn said at the time that Clingan was an important part of his plans for the coming season.

Paynter was pretty dire for us, gave away far too many fouls when jumping for headers and trying to win balls, so he ruined momentum of attacks. Finishing and decision making wasn't good either, the one goal he scored was decent and we thought he might crack on from there but nope.
Heard we were interested in Clingan way back at the start of the window before we signed Michael Brown, think I'd prefer him to Brown though. You selling?

Sounds a top player
And knowing our club, we probably are I'd like to keep hold to Coventry's Xabi Alonso though

Gradel is going for £7.5m and tbh I'd much rather that than lose him next summer on a free.
Plus it'll all mean we get to see this hotel sooner
