Gabriel Agbonlahor has been in great form lately, is only getting better, has all the tools to play alongside Rooney and lead England to glory. He will surely be a dynamic scorer for years to come.

Future of England - Page 7 58503 Agbonlahor is shite. Yes he's showing a glimpse that he has talent but he's done that all his playing career he's very inconsistent and hasn't shown any signs of that getting better in the years he's been playing in the premier league.

he does things to help his team win that don't go down on the stat sheet. He's future England captain material. Whenever you need a big goal or a big defensive play he's there.

you all doubt him every year then he scores great goals against blackburn. He's versatile and doesn't mind playing on the wing. All around threat.

We have good reason to doubt him every year. Yes, he may score some good goals, but he doesn't score enough. That is down to a lack of consistency, but more importantly, a lack of the actual ability which you are claiming he has.

Agreed. Too many players are overhyped because of their speed. It's all well and good having pace, but it's utterly useless if you can't do anything with it, whether you're a striker or a winger.

He's average as hell and i doubt he'll be getting any better. The only notable thing worth mentioning about him is that he's got decent pace for a centre forward, which is why he's able to play on the wing.

To even suggest he should be captain of England is ridiculous. He's never shown any leadership traits when playing for Aston Villa either, you must be on a wind up or you're clueless.
