I really want to go to Newcastle for Uni, but Sheffield seems the best Course-wise. Either way, i'll definitely be moving out. Newcastle, Sheffield are the most likely, then it's either Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool, then Bristol is a small possibility.

You'll meet people on your course. Obviously it's easier for those who live at Uni but it's not as if you're going to make no friends unless you're a dubstep loving prick.

That's probably the biggest advantage of living with other people. I met all the people I know through living with them, the only people I know on my course are the ones I've met through living with them.
