Jenkinson, Djourou, Koscielny and Traore have played 150 PL games between them exactly

Evra, Smalling, Evans and Jones have played 306 PL games between them, so over double.. took me fucking ages to add that all up.

In attacking terms, yes, Evra is one of the best left-backs in the world but recently he has been caught out defensively

oh i read you post wrong, i thought you said one of our back 4 has more experience then your whole back 4

whats the stats if evra is taken out? Neutral

also it should be overall not just PL as players like Koscielny played loads of games for his previous teams

Actually, you're right Evra does have more experience then our whole back 4 put together roughly Laughing

If Evra is taken it's about equal.

He hasn't really Laughing And his old teams were hardly worth mentioning really. And it pretty much is overall, because i've included Djourous loan spell to Birmingham, and Traores to Portsmouth. Jenkinson really hasn't played many games at all in general.

If I made it overall, Evra would compensate any extra games Koscielny would add so it doesn't matter really.

but i shouldnt have to tell you that defending doesnt depend on the back 4 only

midfield is as important if not more to a good defensive performance

    Evra has 170 PL appearances. Without him, the averages are 136/3 = 45.333... 150/4 = 37.5.

Yes I know this.. but if you look at the goals, then a lot of them were due to defensive mistakes.

2 of Youngs goals were class yeah, but who knows if Sagna was playing he could have closed Young down quicker rather then Jenkinson who was helpless. Nanis goal was pathetic defending, the first goal was Djourous fault really, and partly Szczsneys. Jenkinson also gave away the free kick, not sure who gave away the 2nd, the penalty was debatable.

First goal was Djourou's fault. Both free kicks were Jenkinson's fault. Nani goal was the defence's fault. The penalty was Walcott's fault.

It wasn't really Jenkinson's fault though. I felt sorry for him because he was constantly left on his own

That record was amazing. The penalty at West Brom was the first one for so long.

He had a good record at the same time for no yellows as well. Which does generally come if you've got a no foul record. Neutral

Was it only Jenkinson who didn't see what Young was going to do for his 1st goal? He was only ever going to cut in on his right foot.
