Completely ridiculous statement and just a method of overrating the EPL. Even with the evidence to rebuke this claim, people will still attempt to justify it.
I hate when people say Messi would struggle if he was playing in England. The fact is, he would rip apart English defences like he is currently doing in Spain. There is no evidence to back up any claims which say he wouldn't.
