My bad, I meant 2008-2010 (early 2010)cheesy wrote:Hitchy wrote:I don't think it's really that laughable... he was definitely in the upper echelon of wingers in 2007-2009VivaRonaldo wrote:Hitchy wrote:Not sure what's happened to Malouda... he was one of the best wingers in the world a couple of seasons ago
I'd disagree there. He signed for Chelsea in 2007 and was appalling in his very first season and for a large part of the next one. His best times were really during the 2009/2010 season.

Cheesy I dont like your attitude that you are above everyone else in terms of footballing knowledge, when in fact all you do is state the obvious, now if you would excuse me I dont wish to continue this conversation because you are embarrassing.

Where have I stated that I'm above everyone in football knowledge?
That's right, I haven't. You have a cheek to talk about football knowledge anyway, when all you're doing is trying to deflect the attention onto the Chelsea fans.

Never said you stated it, I said its from your attitude. The fans are part of the game too, and this thread is for discussing the game, so if you dont like it then I suggest you leave.

Worth so much more than that. He's a much more competent defender than Luiz and can hit a great free-kick as well.

Couldn't pick a MOTM today, Alex, Bosingwa, Cole or Torres all worthy.

Re: Stoke V Chelsea Match Thread
Oh, I read this very specific tweet from an Italian football journalist: Alex, who is set to join Juve on loan/for 7m/for 9m on Tuesday/Weds/next week starts over David Luiz for Chelsea. How odd....

If you're not just referring to the Chelsea players, Begovic could be worth a shout as well. Made quite a few good save in the game.

I think Alex is amazing, he's much better than Ivanovic and Luiz.
Who is he being linked with?
