Not sure if this has been discussed before, but who do you think is better, Scholes or Pirlo?
I mean who's the better footballer in general, most people on here will probably say Scholes, but for me Pirlo just edges it, his vision is at least as good as Scholes' was, and he can read the game much better than Scholes defensively.
Pirlo also never commits bonebreaking challenges like Scholes used to, he knows exactly where the ball will come, even though he's a deep-lying playmaker and not a holding mid he's good in the tackle and hardly has to go to the ground.
Their long shots are about the same I'd say, even though Scholes just would smash a ball towards goal whereas Pirlo often tries to curl it into the top corner.
