Good, solid and deserved win today. The second goal may have been lucky in a way, but Young still had to make the run and people forget that we were able to dominate the game, especially in the first half, where we could have taken a more convincing lead.

Disappointed to see Ferdinand injured, but it could turn out to be a blessing. Smalling and Jones will both now get plenty of chances at first team football. I'm very impressed with Jones composure on the ball, as it's a lot better than you typical defender.

The signs look good for the season.

Don't get me wrong, if I had the choice, I would much rather have Ferdinand playing, but we have more than competent back-up, both of whom deserve playing time at some point.

What I mean to say is that his injury may not be as bad as people would immediately think. He have strong backup which should be able to fill in for him adequately, until his return.

My friends, I am dissapointed not to see Berbatov start today.

i thought as soon as he came onto the pitch, our link up play improved, the scrappy play stopped and Berbatov was linking it up again. Provided the assist for Young.

Surely Berbatov must start against Tottenham on viewing evidence scratch

The Samir Nasri song fits better with Nasri, I'm assuming to fit with Young you have to sing Ashley twice, that wouldn't sound as good!
