the more i think about it the less i want sneijder 
i think we are so desperate for a World Class midfield we will take anyone no matter if they fit our style or not
if spurs show even 1% in the way of selling Modric we better pounce, Modric would be alot better then Sneijder (for us)
i would hate to see chelsea get him instead of us without us even trying. i really dont want sneijder now, i think it will be a waste of £35m+ and huge wages

It wouldn't be a waste to sign him. While I'm not sure if he would definitely fit in at CM for us, he wouldn't be a bad signing by any stretch of the imagination.
I agree with what you're saying about Modric though. Somebody like him would be a lot better for us than Sneidjer, as Modric is a natural CM and is the deep lying playmaker we are in desperate need of.
