Hopefully. Would be great if we could a decent amount of games out of him this season.

Thought Spearing played very good in the first half.

    4 goals in pre-season isn't bad I guess.

Agree with that. He has improved massively under Kenny.

All we need is a centre back and I think the team is complete for the season. I think Kuyt should be classed more as a striker now than a wide man since we now have Rodriguez and Henderson (and also maybe Gerrard) who can play on the right. If Kenny can get the right rotation for the right games, we'll definitely be in the top 4.

If Kenny can get us playing high tempo, like we did in the first half. Throughout the season, I can see us doing well. We pressed high up the pitch, and causing Valencia problems. Liverpool pressing high up the pitch forced a mistake from the Valencia defender, which led on towards the goal.

When all the subs came on, we sorta lost the game plan.

    Bring on Sunderland eek2

Henderson's passing was a little bit poor.

We still need a left back before the close of the window. Aurelio, Insua and Robinson doesn't really look strong enough for the whole of the season.

yeah you're right, forgot about left back. If we do get a new left back, Aurelio is good enough to be played as a winger too, if need be.

Aurelio as a winger has never worked in the past. We have Downing/Suarez/Maxi/Adam who can all play on the left. Kuyt also plays on the left for Holland.. All these ahead of Aurelio on the left me.

Aurelio is probably the best crosser on the left though. Haven't seen Downing consistantly cross yet but Aurelio can really whip it in. It would be very effective these days with Carroll up front. The bottom line is, we finally have decent options.

Fuck, just heard that we've agreed to let Ayala go to Hull Cry Just hope we've included a buy back option should he do well in the future.

Why would Liam be banned? He may be annoying to some of you, but his football brain is excellent. He's also proved many of you wrong in the past.

If he put aside the Liverpool hating and Berbatov loving, he'd be one of the best members around.

    Lucas -- Adam

    Suarez -- Aquilani -- Downing

    Carroll

I hope we play something like that against Sunderland.

I'm doubting Suarez will play, I'd love him too but there's no real rush.. Not at home against Sunderland anyway. He might just get on the bench. But bar Suarez I'm with you Jordan.
