Re: England withdraw World Cup Bid!
They had an agreement with USA didn't they, if USA pulled out of 2018 then we'd pull out of 2022?

Don't care cos Hull was bummed out in favour of a fake town like Milton Keynes and a City with 2 football stadiums that still don't reach the attendance of Hulls 1 teams attendances.

But we have the facilities.
+ We would actually make use of the stadium. When we are back in the PL we will easily fill a 30k seater stadium. Bristol and MK Dons wont!
Also, I don't think you've been to Hull recently. The city centre has been redeveloped. Round the stadium is being redeveloped as we speak. We are actually spending money to make our city look like it should.

Who says that the 1M or so people around Bristol won't support their local team instead of Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea if they made it to the top flight?

Because the USA pulled out of the 2018 WC rights. Which means only European countries are left in the bid for the 2018 WC. Logically, a European country will win the rights for 2018 and a European nation can't possibly win a 2022 WC.

Which hopefully means Indonesia 2022!
They have the stadiums, the country can act as a police state for a couple months guaranteeing safety, Indonesia itself is very beautiful and warm, and they have the money to build infrastructure.
Plus the I-League is growing rapidly and already has top-notch attendance figures. Wouldn't be surprising to see Indonesian clubs in Asian cup in upcoming years.

Re: England withdraw World Cup Bid!
Indonesia cancelled there bid for 2022.
On March 19, 2010, FIFA announced that Indonesia's bid to host the 2022 World Cup had been rejected, because the government stated that their concern is for the people of the country, and so could not support the bid as FIFA requested.
