Anyone watching this? Programmes already started, Mourinho seems to be taking it extremely seriously.

Thank goodness Kenneth Dalglish isn't spoiling the occasion by deploying Crespo in defense and moving William Ferrell out of position.

Carragher got dominated by Del Piero there.

Why did Sheen go off and why did Jose go on the pitch?

Come on be fair, you can't expect the celebrities to do as well as the legends.

ROW looking dangerous, Gordon Ramsay is struggling to find the final ball right now though.

Seedorf seems to get off at playing in petty charity games and looking like a God. Pathetic.

Edgar Davids sounds like a dick, judging from what they said in the commentary.

That is very true, it's like he's playing against under 15s.

I was actually reading a book today with a chapter on him, and it pretty much confirmed that. He trash-talked a lot and always claimed he was the greatest.Zzonked wrote:Edgar Davids sounds like a dick, judging from what they said in the commentary.

James Carragher tries to play down his protests as banter, Phillip Dowd rightly shuts him down.

I really want a free kick in Del Piero range.

I could probably compete with these losers, are these seriously the best footballing celebrities they could find? Didn't the Kasabian guitarist play one year and score an absolute banshee?

I remember his name only because of that goal, Sergio Pizznoro (sp?). I was looking for him in the line up.
James McAvoy has been pretty anonymous in this game, shame because he is one of the only good things to come out of Scotland.

Agreed. Some of these are an utter joke, and it's compounded even more when the commentary brings up by the fact some have actually played football at semi-respectable level.

Yeah, that's the one. Pizzorno, I think.Zzonked wrote:Glen Miller wrote:I could probably compete with these losers, are these seriously the best footballing celebrities they could find? Didn't the Kasabian guitarist play one year and score an absolute banshee?

McAvoy just pulled off a great pass, let's hope he gets more involved.

Should sub off James McAvoy for Patrick Stewart.

ROW are running through Bishop and the fat man like diarrhea in midfield, I don't think I ever played against a less mobile, less talented midfield duo in my small high school league in the USA. Besides Kevin Phillips and the guy at right back, this team is atrocious.Keyser Söze wrote:Glen Miller wrote:I could probably compete with these losers, are these seriously the best footballing celebrities they could find? Gordon Ramsay played for Rangers at youth level I think, and he can't resist stumbling over like an oaf whenever the ball comes near him.

Olly Murs seems decent in terms of celebrities.
I would probably be more pathetic than any of them though. I could probably run around more than any of them, so maybe if Harry Redknapp is ever manager I'd be allowed in.

I can kick the ball pretty far and occasionally it reaches a winger or forward in a great position. I'll be your Steve G if you can be my Henderson.Zzonked wrote:Olly Murs seems decent in terms of celebrities.

Jose Mourinho is beyond pathetic clearly going for the Youtube views with that tackle. How self-obsessed can you get.

Shame that I don't have any spare money, so I'm gonna have to pull a Scouser_Dave on the charity part of this game.

He's like David Brent in the Red Nose Day episode of The Office.Keyser Söze wrote:Jose Mourinho is beyond pathetic clearly going for the Youtube views with that tackle. How self-obsessed can you get.
