Just about everyone on this forum must know I hate diving more than anyone else. Point is, yes, he cheated, but he can't be labelled a "diver" unless he does it multiple times. Half the ones in the OP must barely have dived once.

When Carroll was a Newcastle player, I would not have thought of him as a diver, yet the diving mentality has evidently spread to him during his so far brief spell at Liverpool.

It appears that they are going to lose to this poor and unheard of team anyway, so in the end, Carroll and his team will receive their just punishment for this atrocity. Diving must be stamped out of football, but until something is done about Liverpool, this is going to be a task of an almost impossible nature.
