well it ended up being a draw, melbourne got dominated for the entire game but defended really well and got some luck to but a decent point earned i guess, they still have hopes to qualify to the knockout stage still

cernak was their best tonight prob his best game since moving to the fury but still he should be played centrally more imo

bolton to buy rhys williams in the summer for 3 million pounds

    http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/premier-league/bolton-to-offer-3million-to-middlesbrough-for-highly-rated-socceroo-defender-rhys-williams/story-e6frf4a3-1226050076931

would be a good move for him to a team that likes to play football. hes pretty loyal to boro but its pretty obvious that hes too good for the championship even after being injured for almost a year. hes such a beast that boro have been playing him as an attacking midfielder a lot recently. i think hes played in every position for them besides goalkeeper!

I wish they could keep hold of Sturridge as well. They would be seriously pushing for an European spot next year.

yeah definitely man. theyre a completely different team when he plays. i wonder who coyle will have lined up as a replacement though? probably someone in the same sort of ilk, or then again im sure he will sign a bunch of young dudes on loan too

bradley isnt getting a fair go at villa, maybe he could go on loan to bolton even though hes not a striker cause he sure as hell wont want to be playing 2.bundesliga next season

Yeah, he better not stay at Villa, but, 'gladbach might be able to stay up after their victory over Hannover last week (which basically ended their CL push).

How about other Aussies that are rumored to move? Any other juicy potential transfers?

i dont think theyll stay up which is such a shame i sort of miss getting up early in the morning to watch MB for gladbach in home matches, the fans and the stadium are so awesome, such a big club so its a pity! and to be honest i think it could be a good thing if they got relegated as then theoretically bradley would have to go out on loan again or the club will have to sell him to a better club in theory and for cheap as well we should attract even more options, although that might just be my FM sense right there!

mathew leckies a done deal, hes already in germany Smile

we had a lot of aussies trialling in the uk which always happens in the a-league off season since the break is 5 months long but i dont think any got good news, youd think in this day and age they might try to their luck in other countries, i mean, are the bright lights of sheffield wednesday in league 1 really that attractive to an overseas based footballer? shit i know they need to put money on the table but have some standards guys! Smile

aminis transfer to dortmund is stalling now because mariners want a lot more than dortmund offered, but they better come up with a solution soon or else amini will just leave on a free transfer after next season

lucas neill and harry kewell both off contract at the end of this season, lucas already said hes staying in europe but harry looks more than likely that hell go to mls Socceroos/A-league - Page 6 644235

Front page of the Daily Telegraph says Australia still have a chance of hosting the 2022 WC? Something about the Qatar bid being investigated for corruption (which basically everyone knows exists)

Yeah i aint bothered about the World Cup no more, even if they did a recount or whatev i doubt wed get much more votes anyway plus im just over the whole onslaught the media is giving to soccer about it now too.

When Gillard released the federal budget they already ticked off and acknoledged the $45million spent on the bid yet the papers keep brining it up again its so damn annoying

Aminis transfer to BVB has been cancelled because CCM couldnt agree to a fee

Arnold had agreed with BVB for $270k plus some incentives but then the mariners CEO sent a letter to BVB asking for $1million plus a percentage of his sell on profit so BVB told them to piss off and now Aminis agent is talking to the news about it.

Mariners loss since Amini will just leave them on a free at the end of next season if he doesnt get scouted by another club during the U20 world cup

FFS why do they have to stunt his growth, hes not even worth 1 million yet, greedy bastards. If he went to Dortmund he will improve so much more than if he was here.
