Arsenal 2-1 Benfica Champions League quarter finals leg 1

Benfica started off shocking all the Arsenal fans with a goal from Eduardo Salvio in the 25th minute to give them the lead, however their lead didn't last for long as Cesc Fabregas equalized in the 36th minute, and Jack Wilshere scored the important winning goal in the 56th minute.

    Arsenal 3-1 Manchester United

Arsenal were facing a difficult task of beating their main rival in the title race, Manchester United, and they managed to do it well, Arsenal started off quickly, with Jack Wilshere carrying on his good form from the Benfica game and scoring a beautiful chip in the 5th minute. Soon Robin Van Persie got a great pass from Aaron Ramsey and he struck it with real power into the top corner to make it 2-0, and then just 6 minutes later, Arsenal earned a free kick near the Manchester United box, Fabregas chose to pass it to Ramsey from the free kick who scored a magnificent strike that will surely be one of the main contenders for the goal of the month title. In the 84th minute Dimitar Berbatov scored a goal, but it changed nothing overall, Arsenal were clear and deserved winners.

Tottenham 2-2 Arsenal FA Cup semi final
    pen (2-3)

A very exciting match, where the winner had to be decided on penalties, and this time it was Arsenal.

Arsenal started off well, with Arturo Vidal scoring a really beautiful goal from outside of the box into the top corner to give them the lead in the 24th minute.
Arsenal were leading for a while until Wilson Palacios scored an equalizer in the 68th minute, Arsenal started attacking after that, and Marouane Chamakh gave them the lead in the 83rd minute once more, that had to be the winner, but a quick Tottenham counter attack where Aaron Lennon crossed it in and Peter Crouch was there to head it in and take the game to penalties. He was delighted but it did not last long, as he missed the penalty that cost Tottenham the shootout.

Arsenal will now be facing Chelsea in the FA cup final.

    Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal

    ------------------------- Arda Turan (45)
    ------------------------- Carlos Vela (90)

    Blackpool 0-2 Arsenal

    ----------------------- Marouane Chamakh (71)
    ----------------------- Jack Wilshere (89)

    Arsenal 3-0 Real Madrid
Champions League Semi Final Leg 1

Arsenal were in superb form and took a huge leap forward to reaching the Champions League Final by beating Real Madrid 3-0 at The Emirates Stadium!! yippee yippee

The game started off evenly, both teams had chances, but in the 27th minute, Pepe conceded a penalty after fouling Jack Wilshere in the box, Arturo Vidal stepped up and scored it to give Arsenal the lead.

Then in the second half, Jack Wilshere got a great through ball and he finished it well when he was 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper.
Real Madrid players were not happy and they started doing what they always do when they are angry, they start tackling opponents recklessly. And that's what Pepe did to
Carlos Vela in the 77th minute, which resulted in his second yellow card and his sending off. Real Madrid were now with 10 men and in the 87th minute Arsenal took advantage of that, when
Wilshere scored again to make it 3-0

My own ratings for the players:

    My best 11:

GK - Carlos Kameni 7/10 - He was quite good this season, played in nearly every match and did brilliant saves, but still a few mistakes that led to stupid goals were made, so can't give him a higher rating that 7 out of 10.

LB - Gael Clichy 8/10 - Very solid performer this season, played alot and played well... he has recently become unhappy though, looks like he's leaving...

CB - Thomas Vermaelen 8/10 - Good player, best defender in our squad atm, overall very solid but far from perfect, made some dumb mistakes once in a while.

CB - Laurent Koscielny 8/10 - Good player aswell, did well overall, sad that he got injured and couldn't take part in the CL final.

RB - Bakary Sagna 8/10 - Also very solid season for him, played well for the most part and hardly ever made some mistakes.

CDM - Arturo Vidal 8/10 - Was brilliant in the start of the season, kind of faded in the end but still got some solid performances and scored some important goals.

CM - Aaron Ramsey 9/10 - for such a young player, he did really well, especially in the end of the season.

CM - Cesc Fabregas 10/10 - In my opinion, our best player this season, he gave so many assists and worked so hard for his team.

CAM - Jack Wilshere 9/10 - Was great in the start of the season, not so great in the middle but brilliant in the end of the season

ST - Marouane Chamakh 7/10 - he was great in the start of the season but kind of faded in the end.

ST - Robin Van Persie 9/10 - Quite poor in the start of the season, but he really picked it up in the middle of the season and was in great form until the very end.

    My subs:

Carlos Vela 8/10 - Did really well for a 21 year old sub, scored some really nice goals and gave good assists.

Diego Renan 9/10 - Signing of the season in my opinion, Did a great job of replacing Sagna or Clichy when they were not playing.

Romelu Lukaku 9/10 - Amazing player for a 17 year old! he scored some wonderful and important goals, he'll be a key player for us in the coming seasons.

Abou Diaby 7/10 - Did quite well, some good assists and a few good goals.

Alex Song 8/10 - Great player, did well and it was really convenient to rotate him and Arturo Vidal
